I hate being negative about things but I've seen changes just not good 1s! every press release seems to have been botched. signings leaking early in the media, lambert moaning about signing,even the supporters meeting email said it was friday. I hope the improvements aren't just social media based. Not all of us do the social media thing other than maybe Facebook. i don't twitter snapchat or instigram and my phone isn't a modern 1! this whole e ticket thing caused me problems! new age is all well and good but with a 40+ crowd that could alienate some! Im all for being patient and stuff though. All i care about is the 15 minutes on track though really. so all these other exciting new announcements in terms of social media don't really excite me. Sign an exciting challenging team or drop prices. thats the best initiative! meh. rant over.

I see Bjarne Pedersen is riding in the ben fund meeting without having a team place. Maybe he is a b choice? Whats his average. Is it Championship league friendly too? Just weird riding in a meeting with not having a team place? Unless us kings lynn fans are getting a little over enthusiastic expecting to have niels announced at our fans meeting.

The news has sunk in now. Both reserves should be good for 6s and 7s, rose 5-6, lambert 9+ Niels 10+ leaves tj and proctor to get about 10 between them. For me they are the pivotal guys in the team. If they ride well we win meetings.

I loved the look of proctor when he first came over. He really looked like a guy going places. A few years back this would have been a good signing. What happened with him though? Was it a big injury? Ill get behind. Lynn is my team and it's important to support the team. At the end of last season though I expected many of that team to be back. Kai thj and toft tj , A number 1 and a replacement for lambert who has stayed. I could even understand if the team buster went for had the likes of Harris, barker, garity, you know. Battlers. As part of the new era. Riders judged by more than average and ability. kinda scratching my head a bit. I'm not going to be negative. Just going to take some digesting though. . . Smolinski as number 1. Anything better will be a bonus. We have the 2 Lewis 's and lambert. That's pretty cool. We have Niels possibly too. What is awesome after the rock star flop we signed last year. Made you appreciate what we had in Niels. as for the rest . . . . Give them a chance. Im not expecting a title challenge but for a few seasons we have had good teams and it's not worked out. At least there isn't going to be those expectations. It's better to fall from a low height. Hurts less

Piotr pawlicki could be an option maybe. Seemed he was open to the idea of riding in the uk. Freddie lindgren. Aj. zagar. The 1 over 8 rule has meant there are riders still out there. Could go for stronger riders than the Dane people are talking about and manzarez. It's not ideal but maybe for example lambert, toft, jorgensen, worrall, gomolski, Kerr, rose not ideal though

Im a bit disappointed he hasn't towed the company line. At the end of the season he was pretty open about wanting to move on. He could have handed in a request then. Mind you 12 months is along time and should he have a good season he may choose to stay on if all these other things work out. The article is slap in the face in terms of the media plan for the promotion too. If the ink isn't dry we should maybe reconsider. thinking who else is about though, kk? Zengotta? Sundstrom? When you think of it like this. The 1 over 8 rule isactually a hindrance when you think of the guys who could have been available, in a parallel universe 1 from Swindon, 1 from Poole if the magic rumours were true. Speedway can be quite predictable at times!!!! With him you never knew what was going to happen. If he was behind you knew he could pass when he was in front you knew he could cock up! Entertaining! I get why people wouldn't like him. But those people shouldn't then moan about a lack of entertainment. Because he was very entertaining!

Not being funny but id expect riders who aren't championship league heat leaders to have to have jobs outside of speedway to make it pay. i do feel sorry for joe jacobs as a 24 yo english lad not getting a ride. Announcing retirement though makes me question how much he really wanted it! If you want it enough then you don't quit. Its ok to not want it! but if he had to he could have rode nl and waited for an opportunity. as long as he was close to breaking even then he could have rode himself into a team place.

If he feels he has to prove himself then it will be a great signing. If he feels he is doing Poole a favour and turns up like a rock star like he did at lynn then a rotten apple will ruin the bunch. He made me question my love for speedway last year and that was before you guys beat us in that meeting. I was looking at it thinking this guy is being paid a fortune for what. He was constantly out classed. Often riding with lewis rose you would question who was the senior. People kept saying he'd come good but it was never going to happen. Maybe going back to Poole on less money and it being left late too will give him the realisation that he's not all that great and he has to prove himself to himself. If so then maybe he will average over 8

I'd have had him, lambert and a number 1 as my 3 main signings and worked the rest around that!

This 1 over 8 rule. Does anybody know if 8.00 is over 8. I know Poole had Bjarne one year because of this and 8.01 was the important number

I'd argue the big names earn enough. its probably more to to do with arrogance. You know. Bigger than the title itself. Or scared they will be beaten by a lesser name. I feel a bit sad for the Aussie fans who don't get to see their own stars ride, Actually they deserve a gp but the "rockstar" riders don't. Bet they use the line "it's great to ride here in Australia" when the gp is in town though. Even though they have many opportunities to raise the profile there now riding and doing there bit.

Glory over money surely? It's national pride and a title? Other than aussies and tai. Are there any other notable absentees from national championships.

The more I think about that picture with Nickis bike the less sense it makes to have it there unless he has signed. It's the picture that will always be associated with the co promoter joining and has all nickis sponsors in it. Maybe there is a potential deal with one of those sponsors much like the holder one last season to pay his wages. It wouldn't have taken much to have used a generic lynn cover on a bike and made the picture look professional. So I'm starting to think it could be an obvious hint

I'd love it if Nicki did come back!!! He was my favourite when he rode for us. My dad stopped going when we dropped to the 2nd tier. As a casual fan that's fair enough. But he's always saying if Nicki returned he would. I'd doubt it would happen though but I'd buzz! A nostalgia thing I'd guess. Surely it would have been easy to have got a generic KLS bike cover in the picture though.

I have a feeling we may announce a rider or 2 tomorrow. then another the next wednesday and 1 the wednesday after that! if that does happen then id guess we will stay racing on wednesdays and that will be the new forward thinking approach to team announcements . i like hearing the whole team at a fans forum! you go there guessing and you come away with all the answers. I know its apparently less publicity through local press but a flip side to that is that its only really fans that take notice anyway whether that is 1 big announcement or 7 little 1s getting it all done before xmas too seems efficient! while i agree there is no point making announcements if they are not there. i also believe its frustrating knowing we possibly have riders signed with the information kept from us for in some cases 3 more weeks! What will happen in that time is we will get our expectations up that the forum day big announcements are niels and lambert are returning then when we end up with smolinski and bjarne pedersen we will feel dejected!!!!! Don't drip feed us dissapointling news if thats the case!!!! give us it all in 1 swift bowel movement asap, then we can move on!!!! Just feels frustrating not knowing !!!

Has anybody got a spare of this game. I have an xp computer with a floppy disk drive but it just seems to overlap and not work. On a different xp computer and an external floppy disc drive it just says the files need reformatting i know it's not the most exciting game ever but I just fancy playing it for a bit of nostalgia. No other game exists it seems. i don't know if it's the game or the technology. If anybody can load a working game on a computer and can get it working properly then pm me.!!!! dan
