  1. Firstly I’d like to apologise to Swindon fans who believe I’ve been trolling and criticising certain riders. I stopped attending speedway in 2008 when my hometown club closed down Reading Racers, when I moved to Swindon and living only 5 minutes away from the abbey stadium, I jumped at the chance to watch Speedway again. I admit sometimes I let my passion for the sport takeover and should rein it in sometimes. Any rumour I hear on Twitter or social media should be left just as that, so I apologise for the whole Chris Harris signs for Swindon post. I’ve been told that the riders and manangement of Swindon do read on this forum, so I’d like to say sorry to David Bellego and Jack Smith, I’m sure they give 110% every week and I will be supporting them for the remainder of the season, successful or not.

    regards

Considering a number of the Robins riders are carrying injuries and Zac was just returning from one the team did pretty well. I think with a fully fit team the Budgies could have won it.

Lambert aside (who's different class at the moment) KL are nothing special.

Other than Jack Smith I'm with Rosco in not making any changes. It's good to have some continuity in the side and you can actually identify with a set of riders.

If we don't make the play offs so what? Things aren't going as well as last season but let's see if these lads can turn it around.

    Defeatist attitude

I would love Tom Brennan or maybe Georgie Wood to get a chance i dont think Eastbourne would allow it though. For me to have any chance of winning anything our top 5 have to click again the extra odd point at reserve wont make that much of a difference. Also would it not be better to have Zach at no 7 or is there another crazy rule that will not allow it.?

Which is why I suggested replacing Bellego with Krystian Pieszczek on 6.50 average, but I just get shot down.

Bellego can be replaced with rider on average upto 6.98 from August.

Absurd is constantly calling for riders to be replaced when the alternatives will not strengthen the team. Latest GSA show Bellego 6.10 & Smith 2.00. Combined 8.10 minus 0.54 to bring back under the 42.5 point limit = 7.56 for two riders.

Answers on a postcard who those riders would be and how they would strengthen the Swindon side.....

Can replace Smith with a rider on 3.15 average come August 1st, based on updated GSA.

Piesszczek is absurd. Now, if you said Milik or Michelsen were interested and would fit with Berge to replace Morris/Bellego and Smith  you might have a point for debate. Otherwise it’s just a load of random twaddle.

I’ll tell you what is absurd, keeping David Bellego & Jack Smith.

How is it "crap" and being a "troll" when someone attempts to make constructive suggestions on how we might improve the team and give ourselves a chance of making the play-offs?  Surely that is the kind of thing that creates debate which is what a forum is for.  Is it absurb to suggest the introduction of Pieszczek and a stronger reserve or are we happy to let the season just drift away?  I'm a Robins fan and I want us to make the play-offs!  Any suggestions on what we should do for the rest of the season A Orlov?

    Finally someone speaking sense.
