The thing with Lindgren though if you take out heat 13 he still has to face the opposing heat leader 3 times during a meeting, it’s no different to riding at number 4 surely? He still has to face the same riders minus heat 14. Granted he is so inconsistent. Some of his away scores are disgraceful for someone who’s been around the tracks as long as he has.

It’s not just this season though is it? Most seasons he’s ridden for us mainly at number 4 and some of his away performances are pathetic for someone of his ability and experience. Although I do agree it’s not his fault he is tasked with being our number 1.

Yes we have team suits again and they will be wearing them tonight. Can only see a big home win tonight.

To be fair to the riders they probably are asking for more money than back in 2003 because as people well know the price of everything has risen so is now much more expensive than it would’ve been in 2003.

Why was he not included in the original line up? He obviously won it last year and has a fair bit of history with belle vue anyway, it seemed a bit odd he wasn’t originally included considering some of the names who’ve been announced.

I was wondering it can’t possibly be Roynon but after the Wethers announcement yesterday nothing would surprise me. On a side note has any of our management team actually seen Roynon at brough lately? He really struggles to get around the place.

Are you being serious? Absolutely awful signing imo he didn’t even ride last season which makes it an even more bizarre signing. And what makes you so sure our last rider will be decent? We’re a week away from p&p and if we’ve struggled to get a proper number 1 so far I think the chances of getting one now are very slim.

But surely 2 wages are better than 1?

So it’s in this weeks speedway star that it’s unlikely we will get Eddie Kennett due to the traveling from his home. Bit of a shame but maybe not totally unexpected. Maybe that’s why foreign riders get team places over brits though if there not willing to travel for a ride.

Will most decentish number ones not already be set up with Poland etc? Struggling to see who we could use at one if I’m honest.

Same old same old. What is it about 6 weeks until the season starts and some rules are still not sorted yet... ridiculous!

So with no news regarding the last 2 riders today is it a sign towards we could be waiting for the 6 point rule to be dropped so Eddie Kennett will be our number 1?

Anyone know what average Grondal is on? There is suggestions he is coming in on his PL average converted by 1.3 or has this already been mentioned? Apologies if it has.

Was reading this weeks speedway star and surprised to find Alfie Bowtell without a spot good job he is at lakeside now though. A couple of others of note Dan Halsey, Connor Mountain and Jake Knight without teams also is this due to the low points limit?

What about Magnus Karlsson weren’t someone interested in bringing him back over a season or two ago? No idea what average he’d be on mind.

Hougaard on that average would be a great signing imo but won’t he have polish commitments too? Wouldn’t touch graversen or roynon though.

No idea what they’d do. If his average is too high then it would have to be between Knight and Mountain should they want to a ride.
