If you are not giving yourself every opportunity to do well in your chosen sport, you only have yourself to blame if you don’t do as well as you could. Why have that kebab after a meeting when you could have prepared a chicken salad a few hours earlier?

I remember being at Subway in Poole and Darcy Ward came in. He ordered a green leaf salad. Had the knowledge to eat healthily. Want to stay healthy or lose weight? Stay off carbs and processed foods. Carbs especially.

The same Darcy ward who got a ban from riding because he failed an alcohol test lol. The night before a rearranged meeting, don’t think he done himself much favours or tried everything to be the best he could early on in his career but I bet you were like the majority of Poole fans and he could do no wrong in your eyes.

    What was his excuse tonight..?

Lee is a nice chap and when he was younger he had real natural ability and could have got to the next level but his 'badge kissing' when he wins Heat 2 has you all deluded as to his ability now. He's still a good rider at reserve around Ashfield but the title is won over TWO legs, home and AWAY and the Tigers' reserves are a liability away from home against other Championship reserves. Glasgow has lost to TWO teams over two legs already in two tournaments this season and it's only the signing of Tarasenko that offers any hope that the Tigers will get a third chance to pick up silverware this season.

Complin still looks a bit heavy for me, that can’t be doing him any favours either imo.

Richie Worrall is not taking his place in Mondays British Final because he doesn't agree with the one-off final. should be 3 or 4 rounds.

Hmm not really going to be a miss is he? He’s pretty dire around bv. I wonder if he’d be saying the same had every final been held at Leicester. It is what it is anyway for years we’ve been crying out for a national stadium to hold big events at and when they do people still complain haha.

So why do Poole attract big crowds week in week out, must have been more people in the pits last night than some track actual attendance

Well that’s the attitude why many people dislike Poole fans uk speedway is in the pits but as long as Poole are ok then it’s all good. Give it a couple of years when you’re racing bv, Redcar and Sheffield on repeat see how much you enjoy it then.

Instead of criticising everything why don't you get yourself down to your local track and support them, it's because of people like you that speedway is dying, yes i shall continue to pay to watch my favourite sport, there is nothing better, the atmosphere at Poole last night was brilliant, with a massive crowd, they keep coming so obviously like what they see

Stupid post imo it’s mainly to do with the people who run the sport why it is dying in this country, the complete lack of contempt most promotions show for the customer base is appalling not to mention the racing is average at best at most of the tracks and in dilapidated stadia.

Yes some people are overly critical and just generally negative about all things speedway but the majority of us just want to see the sport thriving and we as fans can all see what’s wrong with it.

He has been dropped from his side. What groundbreaking information is he going to release? I can sense some sour grapes coming sadly. The tone of his Twitter post suggests as much.

Yeah exactly it’s not as if he’s been left on the shelf ala batchelor at the start of the season.

If it is annoyance about being dropped then how about all of the times he’s came out with the can’t find the right set up etc even though he’s been riding said tracks for 25 years.

From the latest Greensheets, I am guessing it might be something along the lines of

    1. Schlein 7.7

    2. Knudsen 5.56

    3. Flint 6.78

    4. Etheridge 5.89

    5. Andersen 6.62

    6. Boxall 4.33

    7. Coles 2.61

Is that genuinely Andersen’s average? Wow didn’t realize it was so low.
