Lawson and Worrall are not riding at Poole and would do as bad as Ellis
Do us all a favour and shut up
Be suggesting Newman next haha.

16 hours ago, foreverblue said:Kemp would be no better, it doesn't really matter who we have but I would give Harris a go, at least he wouldn't give up like Ellis.
Harris has had so many chances and if you put him in that just means you have zero faith in anybody coming through when you’re using the same rubbish all the time.

8 minutes ago, foreverblue said:Anders Rowe would be a waste of time too, if he is the future we are sunk.
Him or Kemp they are both regularly riding in Poland and it wouldn’t do them any harm. Better than using the same old same old all of the time.

Got to be Brennan at 4 for me with A.N.Other at 5
This 100% Harris has had plenty of chances between the gps and world cups we don’t need to keep going back over the same thing, personally I’d put Brennan in and rather see someone like Anders Rowe given a chance he might not score anything but he is the future. As much as Lawson and Worrall are decent riders in the uk they are never going to make any impression in Poland so imo it’s a waste of time.

Only one I’d be unsure of is Clegg personally he doesn’t really go well on big tracks but with his experience should be scoring highly everywhere he goes in this league.

Who was on the front cover? I can’t recall seeing them.

Do you know where you can find the actual meeting result and scores for everyone riding in these meetings please? The speedway star don’t make any mention of them at all.

I guess we’ll never know. Hopefully it’s just a case of Ben Barker and he’s just been overloading on painkillers to recover from injuries.

It was hot topic in the stands last night and I still don't have a solid answer, but from what I heard the most last night is that he was using cannabis oil to treat injuries. It tested positive of course. I also heard his urine sample was full of cold water but again only heard it from one person. Still don't know if that's what happened only nick Morris will know the answer. I imagine he's going through alot of mental struggles right now as I know speedway is his life and income.
If speedway is his only income then you’d think he’d be extra careful not to jeopardize his career, if he has been taking something he shouldn’t (which is all speculation and we may never fully find out the truth) and he knew he might fail said test if he got asked to do one surely he would’ve been better off saying he was ill miss 7 days racing than potentially throw your whole career away.

Don’t think he should retire like but he’s clearly not fully fit, seemed to back off a bit coming out of the second bend in heat 7, clearly still not right imo he’s not even scoring great in the championship either.

The meeting at monmore looks erm interesting

In Luke's case comes back after injury scores fairly well and ends up in the main body of the team after 4 meetings which in our opinion for a new rider is a ridiculous state of affairs. Yesterday showed for us even though we were happy with his scores it's a big leap forward due to the way the heats are.
I don’t think he’s been helped by a couple of his teammates dropping nearly 6 points off there average between them either in fairness.

Quite a win for Leicester and I think that is the tie over, can’t see Thompson doing as bad at home as he did today and with Boughen flying and a strong reserve should see them through. A bit of pressure on the worky heatleaders when your reserves aren’t scoring much because of the poor form of others it’s perhaps pushed Harrison into the main body a bit earlier than he should be especially after injury. Just going by the updates racing seems like it was decent again though and another self made track which is only good for the sport… wish the comets all the best for this season and years to come.

Ah makes sense then. He kind of strikes me in the mould of one of those brilliant reserves and decent second strings hopefully he can improve further though he seems a good guy.

I quite liked the idea of Swindon a few years ago when they had home and away kevlars quite unique for speedway.
Can anyone remember what year the old EL had the team suits but they were skin tight like Lycra they were awful!

3 minutes ago, Steve Shovlar said:So Poole fans are not meant to grin and celebrate when we win? Ridiculous!
If course other fans don’t want to see Poole win. It’s a sport! Our victories won’t last forever and when we lose other fans will celebrate.
It’s the same in all sports when one club dominate for a period.
Don’t get me wrong Poole are probably the best run speedway team and most successful they always seem to have good crowds and get really good sponsorship every season and since they’ve dropped down have assembled really strong teams I think more teams should aspire to be like them and I get a winning team makes fans etc confident there’s nothing wrong with that but sometimes you and others do go ott.

It’s like the Freemasons with CL sticking up for chapman they all continue to do nothing to change the state of the sport but watch it get weaker and more unprofessional by the year but continue to back each other. They’ve both been involved in speedway for years they are part of why the sports in this mess by continually chugging out the same tripe season after season.

Just now, Steve Shovlar said:But Danyon always tries and never gives up. I would have him at Poole any day and was gutted when he was left out. Look at his attitude compared to Nowak.
I get that but you know yourself when riders ride against there former clubs they’ll try that little bit extra to show what they are missing even if they say otherwise. Nowak was a risk when he’s seeing some away tracks for the first time, I think they obviously banked on him being great at home but he hasn’t been as good as he was last time imo.

1 hour ago, BackInTheDHSS said:But you realise the significance of the timing of your ‘joke’ after what chris4gillian said? Or did that one fly over your head?
He and a few others on here are part of the reason why people don’t want to see Poole do well. The way they go on is laughable.

58 minutes ago, Cabbageman said:Danyon on his last 2 visits has been superb & much better than novak we shud have kept him a cracking guy as well utter stupidity letting him go I agree
Probably trying to show the Glasgow promotion that they should’ve signed him this year, he seems a canny bloke and everything but personally don’t know if he’ll ever be more than a second string every time I watch him he seems to lock the bike up and kill his momentum so much.

In his defence don’t think Harris helped him on bend 3 when he steamed under him. Track is a little tricky most riders are struggling at one point or another.
