Not sure where i posted this but my idea for any junior rider intersted would be to split the riders into groups

So riders Scotland, North, Midlands, South East and South West

Over the course of the season riders run as individuals in 2nd halfs at selected events, so 4 riders per event 4 x heats whether this is incorporated before meetings duringbor after etc.

Each rider can register to ride in what events they are available for 16 meetings in total

So for example say there are 8 riders who fall in the Northern section or apply to do events in Scotland

They enter their 16 meetings which would run at Redcar, Manchester, Sheffield etc.

Meeting points scored go into a Junior Challenge leaderboard with ALL riders across the country

Top 16 invited to a one off final where maybe BSPL can offer a bike or something for the winner etc.

Gives riders track times outside the pressures of a team environment and allows them to focus their development on themselves as an individual entry

The problem with this format is most riders would expect to be paid unlike times gone by when a rider would go almost anywhere for second halves etc just to get some laps in . Obviously if there isn't payment offered, then it's the rides choice to take part at their own costs. Speedway over the years has become it's own enemy as far as money being paid out to riders, who, like I've said expect it now. Not all juniors expect it of course.

I don't know why you'd say this, the kid only has a 7 point average in the NDL, naturally I hope you're right but there's far too much being expected from this lad and I really can't understand why?

I can think and say what I want mate, it doesn't hurt anyone does it? That's the trouble in life, people expect too much!

There's always somebody at fault... it's just a matter of who it is in the refs opinion, that works fine for me

Also people winge about hold ups and meetings taking forever to finish - surely this idea of staggered restarts would see meetings finish in the early hours next day. But speedway does need a shake up in some way.

Adults £10. Concessions £6. Under 16 free. Gates open 6pm.

Should be a big crowd for this one. Thinks it’s on BSN as well.  Pirates need to win this one to keep up the pressure on Glasgow for second spot. Probably too late to get second but no harm in pushing all the way.

Redcar have a good team with Charles Wright and Louis Kerr as their top two. Going to be a hard fought win.

    Thoughts?

First thought was that you've spelt Lewis Kerr's name wrong.

Kyren Lyden now on board, allowing Lewis Miller to regroup and find his mojo again.

This new rider isn't one I've seen before, I guess he's very new to the sport as he looked very inexperienced, maybe being in races with riders of armadales standard should give him chance to learn. Maybe not after seeing the result from Kent.
