Lakeside Future In Serious Doubt
NickH114 replied to KevH's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
It says on the Lakeside web site there is one final meeting at Purfleet, v Glasgow on the 14th of September, but according to the BSPA website and the Peterborough website the league match between the 2 clubs takes place at Lakeside on the 8th of September? -
King's Lynn v Belle Vue 08-08-2018
NickH114 replied to g13webb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Watching tonights meeting as a neutral i thought the referee was an utter disgrace, not only did he get heat 1 (which the announcer had given as a 5-1 to the away team) wrong his decision in heat 15 to award Kings Lynn a 5-1 wrongly denied Belle Vue a point, he called heat 13 back as Cook clearly got a flyer but when Jorgensen had done the same in his second ride he let it go, you only have to look at the comments on the speedway updates to see how bad the decisions were, he was so bias towards the home team i`m surprised he wasn`t on the winning teams lap of honour at the end of the meeting. -

Maybe concentrating on Speedway instead of Long Track has helped with his progress. -
SGB championship fours 1st July redcar

What a class act Erik Riss was yesterday, and has been all this season, he can ride all tracks, very surprised he's not riding in the premier league. -
A saturday night meeting is over (unless there is a hold up) by 9 - 9.30 in most cases, with Rye House being close to the London airports getting to Poland on a sunday shouldn't be too much of an issue, it wasn't last season, no different to racing on a monday evening and getting to Sweden to race the next day surely, Freddie Lindgren did it for years.

Kings Lynn vs Rye House June 18th
NickH114 replied to Star Lady's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
He has been brilliant at Saddlebow at times in the past, and with his upturn in form since joining Rye House I was really looking forward to his races with Lambert, but unfortunately it didn`t happen. -
Rye House v Belle Vue - 20.06.18
NickH114 replied to Aces51's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
A lot could depend on what Bewley and Fricke do, Bewley didn`t do that well at Lakeside a few weeks back riding for Workington, and Fricke hasn`t scored very highly at Rye previously. -
Going back in to the championship with saturday night racing must be a strong possibility.

Peterborough v Ipswich - Sunday 17th June CS
NickH114 replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Heeps was dissapointing as he normally does well at the E.O.E.S, Covatti was a dissapointment too as i'd of thought the showground track would suit him. -

As i'm someone travelling from Newmarket and after reading various posts on here do i assume that the road through West Winch is closed at 7.00 pm onwards tomorrow, and the A47 could be closed in both directions after the meeting?, i would just like to plan ahead if anybody knows for sure whats happening. -
Peterborough v Glasgow - Sun 10th June Championship

Have heard the A1 north bound is closed at Alconbury this weekend, as i'm someone travelling from Newmarket would anyone local or who knows the area know how much of a diversion this intails? -
Erik Riss would be a good signing if he could be fitted in, good on large and small tracks.
