I hope your right, as if he is paired with Ludvig and they both have off nights it could spell disaster.

I think all of his time is taken up running the Ludvig Lindgren Fan Club, he is designing a new website for it I believe!!

    Fours Festival Weekend

Sounds like a good idea hope they get the weather for it. Would have liked to get the old qualifiers back but at least this looks like a step in the right direct. Don't agree with Peterborough getting a bye into the final, they should have to get to the final on merit, not because the event is being staged at their home track and don't think them not being in the final would affect the crowd levels. Does this mean the PLRC will soon follow suit and become a two day event with the winner being decided over the two days!!!

    Newcastle 2016

I totally agree it would be unfair to Kus and he had to do the same when Havvy did this with Berwick. If Havvy is not going to move and wants to sell the rider for a value way above what Newcastle value him at (only assuming that to be the case), I can't think that we would bankrupt ourselves for the sake of it. I had assumed that Havvy was saying that selling was the only option and he was not interested in loaning his rider? From what I can read Kus really wants to rider for Newcastle instead of Redcar but that only puts Havvy in a stronger position as he knows that for both parties (Ncle and Kus) to get what they want someone is going to profit it from it and he is hoping it will be him. We will have to wait and see, but this just seems to be the same thing that Redcar and Berwick had a while back and we know how that ended, lets hope history does not repeat. Is Havvy likely to say, if your not riding for me your not riding for anyone???

What is it now though, about 11 weeks until the start of the season, at what point do English et al just say f**k it and move to option B assuming they have one. I agree with most Havelock is just being a prick and he has form for this. Hopefully it gets sorted soon and we get what we want.

    Redcar 2016

Is it Pep Guardiola, he's rumoured to be going everywhere!!! Having said that will Redcar be able to offer him the sort of budget he is being given elsewhere!!!

Interesting to read that our track finished 3rd considering how much of a bad rep it has with fans. http://www.speedwaygb.co/news.php?extend.29930

I know it is probably not feasible but I think Rose is a better rider at 2 than at reserve, seems to put in better performances in my opinion. Also got to have Stevie at 5 and looking at that lineup, R Worrall would have make it look even better if he had slotted in at 3, but not meant to be. We await the final piece of the 2016 jigsaw puzzle.

    Fao Newcastle Fans

David Bargh was one of the best riders I have seen around Brough in a long while. He rarely dropped a point and had a fantastic racing style, great team rider and generally a top bloke and always happy to stop and have a chat. I still remember the time he had to be helicoptered to Brough to make a meeting after racing in the Commonwealth or some other final down south. Would always make my lineup of top Diamonds riders. I remember him more from his spell during the 90's, in blue leathers with Debmat just about everywhere!!!!

No chance, the Poland thing aside, he hates Brough Park and has gone on record saying so. I think he called it the worse track ever on twitter.

    Newcastle 2016

Any idea why these announcements are not on the official website, or are the treating us like mushrooms again and keeping us in the dark!!! Be interested to hear who these two names being banded about are and why Richie has decided not to ride with his brother next year as indicated at the Diamonds meeting.

    Newcastle 2016

English said: “We would be looking to keep Steve Worrall in the side next year and although he has had a very good season he still has targets to improve on. If Worrall manages to put an extra point on his away average then he will become one of the top number ones in the league instead of a good number one.” He added: “In the end we weren’t good enough to finish in the playoff places this season but we need to focus on putting that right next year. In 2016 we would be looking to build our team with one of our top two riders having around an 8 point average and work our way down from there.” So reading between the lines, if they want to keep Steve Worrall and Richie has stated that he wants to ride with his brother next year (in the PL?? or EL??), does that mean we are likely to see the two of them at Brough, sorry Newcastle Stadium in the same team next year?? If they want one or two 8 point men to lead the team who will that person be or is it S Worral (BSPA website 8.04, Newcastle website 7.46!!). Where would that leave Kerr, Henry (assuming he is coming back to racing, had a number of seasons with bad injuries) and Lindgren?? You would think Lindgren would get a slot with the promotion having bought him as an asset or maybe they will try and recoup some of the fee paid in loan fees?? So we could potentially have: S Worrall 8.04 R Worrall 6.84 L Kerr 7.04 L Lindgren 7.00 Leaving 13.58 for 3 riders, if two of those riders are 3.00 NL draft riders that would leave 7.58. We also look at some of the riders who finished last year in decent form: S Worrall 8.04 R Worrall 6.84 L Kerr 7.04 L Lindgren 7.00 T Aarnio 5.00 L Rose 3.84 A N Other 4.74 I am not saying this or any of the above will feature in the 2016 Diamonds lineup, but by the sounds of things, they want Stevie in the team but is he the 8 point man or is someone coming in above him and if they are, does that spell the end for others?? Will be interesting to see what happens after the AGM.

Hi did indeed, but like the rest of them last night he was giving away too much at the gate.

I left after heat 16, god did I miss another 3 heats, I thought we were bad enough over the 16, to be subjected to another 3 heats would have been torture, glad I left when I did. Totally agree with what you said above and will be interesting to see what the next few months bring in terms of those chosen to done the famous white diamond. Interesting times

    Premier League Fours?

Could not agree with you more, Cook was the star of the show but that heat win in 15 by Riss sealed the deal in my opinion. A poor night by the Diamonds who were last out of the gate everytime and when I say last I mean a good 2 seconds behind everyone else. Tero was great for the Diamonds and to a certain degree so was Anton. Brady Kurtz put in another great performance and I think the Ippo team manager may be wishing he used Gino sooner, 1 race and on the pace from the off. Congrats to Edinburgh and also Redcar on the news of the 15 year lease.
