    30th August - Plymouth v Redcar

Not exactly unusual for one club to say one thing and the other club something completely different. Those of us that know the truth will not worry about what has been said as there was a similar issue with a midland club over a track surface , it’s basically club propaganda and I doubt anyone will justify it with any comment at all.

    30th August - Plymouth v Redcar

As most tracks don’t have a ‘track doctor’ only a hired in paramedic and probably a different one every week , I don’t see that working with any consistency.

    Panthers v Tigers 29/08/22

Standard procedure is 7 tyres issued to each team prior to the start of the meeting , tyres which are checked by the referee from an official batch from the BSPL stock ( a garage proprietary in Lincolnshire ) and distributed at random to each rider to be fitted at the track. Riders will have a used tyre on their second bike which can only be used, when checked and authorised, in an emergency situation.

Because the meeting was abandoned perhaps? Once it is declared ‘closed’ by the official no further official racing can proceed.

Get your facts right, it was Redcar who made him go to the hospital on Saturday in Redcar !

    Redcar v Scunny

With two of the best trackmen in the UK present, Jonathan Swales and Terry ‘ the track ‘ , I think we can safely say they knew what they were doing.

    Redcar v Scunny

“ Ridiculous choice” ? Not by choice at all, believe me they tried to get a guest but no one would do it. See Skunny team at Berwick for an example.

You should never post on meetings being called off….but you do.

    2023 BLSC

Katie Gordon has been riding in the NJL at Redcar for the last two seasons is very competent and improving , possibly the only female riding on a regular basis. Rachael Holliwell didn’t compete at the IOW and only appears on track now and again but was of a similar standard a while back. The rest of the field are an unknown quantity as their names rarely appear at anywhere other than the IOW it seems, perhaps at Iwade ? There’s certainly not enough to make a stand alone meeting of them hence the idea of fielding them in amongst the BYC meetings.

    Try reading a dictionary.

    Panthers v Stars 25/08/22

You don’t seem to know much about how this works do you ? Riders travel long distances, refs travel long distances, some fans travel long distances. What’s the issue calling a meeting off 24 hours in advance if it is clearly obvious it has no chance of taking place ?

    Mildenhall 2023

Very common in riders these days it seems.

    NDL Pairs Leicester 20tn August

That’s the reason Buster sold it on quickly to the Bates, he wanted to run stock cars but was told that would never be allowed so moved it on .

    Mildenhall 2023

Perhaps, but just because it’s ‘ declared ‘ doesn’t mean it’s accurate, this is speedway after all.

    Mildenhall 2023

So your usual unreliable source. The lad has improved this year . He got shat on last season when first starting off so I don’t know why you have a downer on him. He won’t struggle for a team place anywhere if can score points and stay out of hospital whilst riding at Mildenhall.

    Mildenhall 2023

Strange that as he rides at Redcar most weeks, was booked in to ride at their amateur meeting on Saturday but ‘ slept in ‘ , the report says , and rode two races on the trot last night, so what injury do you think he’s struggling with ?
  17. Fortythirtyeight

    NDL Pairs Leicester 20tn August

Get your facts right before making inaccurate comments. A rider is not ‘ dodging it ‘ if he was never asked to compete in it until 48 hours before it actually occurs and cannot get time off work to take part at such short notice. Attendance in the NDL is not mandatory at any meeting, that’s why it’s an ‘ NDL ‘.

    I guess you’ll be apologising now ?

    Championship Pairs 2022

Whilst I wouldn’t argue with most of your points if you went to a Cardiff GP speedway meeting and booked into a ‘ quiet zone ‘ I’m not sure you attended the right sport.

    Poole v Redcar. Championship. 17/8/22

With five out of nine teams riding and one team made up of ‘guests’ getting a suitable replacement neigh on impossible now Birmingham have made up a fixture.

    Testing Riders

It costs pennies for a kit, the cost is the one/ two individuals doing the tests.
  23. Fortythirtyeight

    Testing Riders

“ appear to be “ is the correct phrase. It clearly isn’t as a suspected user was ‘randomly selected ‘ in all his teams 5 checks in one season and when the testers were asked how the ‘ random selecting’ was done no response was given, even when asked to test all 14 riders present to make it ‘ fair ‘ but the request was turned down. The individual passed every test.

Kings Lynn vs Ipswich August 4th

So when your told your being sacked , but please ride in the next match and be happy about it. Really ?
  25. Fortythirtyeight

    Odsal

It doesn’t meet SCB standards so no chance of FIM approving it as it is.
