I did put should we reach the final , I personally think it could have been left a few days until Saturday was out of the way as not to tempt fate , I think we were all aware of when the final would probably take place , to me it just gives Leicester that bit more motivation

Must be a Speedway meeting on tonight as it's peeing down again
-
Bears have agreed the dates with Glasgow should they reach the final ? I think they should have kept that quiet until the 2nd leg has been run

Adam Ellis looking in good form for Swindon, looks a good booking for the Bears on Sunday

Hahaha it's not April 1st you know

Be happy with a 12 point lead tomorrow but would be delighted with a 20 point lead , bigger the lead the easier we can make the 2nd leg and concentrate our thoughts on the Leicester tie

Is there any news on guests for both teams for both legs ?

Talking of Scott free, do you know what Mr Nichols would have done if 2nd leg of the the semi had taken place on Saturday as per the rules that state championship matches take priority over national league fixtures.
I'm guessing your getting at the fact that Nichols would have done the speedway gp instead of riding for Leicester but wether the meeting should have had preference over the reserves is surely down to the scb and if the Bears management had asked for it to be held on that day ,

So borrow riders from other teams without any of the hassle or cost of providing a van, team kevlars and helping sort out personal problems, equipment issues, travel problems etc. If Leicester end up winning hope they get medals for all their guests and other riders that 'retired' for apparent financial reasons.
Just using the rules as they are , it's a bit like 3 riders getting bans for on track behaviour and 2 of them serving the ban and 1 of them getting off Scott free , people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones

I'm sure you know Stavvy, and we talk about this on Facebook; nearly every photo he posts has Pete Reading in it somewhere! He really was a part of the furniture...
Yes I remember stavvy although I doubt he would remember me , my uncle taffy knew him quite well , mention that name when you talk next week always used to stand on the opposite side to the tapes right near the pits , see your a Wimbledon fan I went there once when the individual riders championship was held there , I'm pretty sure it was the late 70s but could have been very early 80s
