  1. I hope this makes sense. Know what I mean Harry?

I know what ya mean and hopefully you understand what I am about to say, you know.

The stadium was built with football in mind and it's always had a removeable pitch. It's a thinly-built stadium so I don't think there's much room to make wide unless they made the corner entries like extremely angle. I am sure there's a FIM standard white line distance too. If you look at the pics at the very start, they have built the track right up against the start of the seating plus the air fence to come.

I think looking through them, I understand what ya mean. They could have gone more in the middle. You know?

  2. Many thanks for the webcam pictures DutchGrasstrack. Very interesting seeing how the track is being built.

I agree with Beesboybert though - it does look very narrow. After how it performed last year why couldn't they have made it a bit wider being as they are starting from scratch?

Because it was built for football, I don't think there's room in the stadium 'playing area' to make it wider.

  3. Our current second junior, Marcin Jedrzejewski, turns 22 next year so it was his last junior season. He'll probably be lent to one od Division 1 clubs. Another Bydgoszcz young boys like Damian Adamczak or Szymon Wozniak are gifted but not ready to ride in Ekstraliga yet, IMHO. So what we would need most is one top u-21 riders. Or one of world top riders instead of Okoniewski...

Your favourite Gomolski will do..... Seriously how about some like Mroczka or Brzozowski or even Kajzer from Liga I? Maybe Pawalaszczyk from ROW?!?

I'd like to see Polonia target Kolodziej but he's part of the club at Tarnow, so unlikely.

  4. Personally I reckon the Top Six should be seeded, 7th to 12th in the GP Challenge along with 10 riders who came through the qualification rounds (the Top Six qualifying from that) and then 3 wild cards (which can not be riders who were given the second chance of the GP Challenge but riders who missed 2+ GPs due to injury may be available for selection).

As mentioned though system like this would probably see the GP Challenge held on ice in the winter.

According to the same Polish magazine, Togliatti is due a Grand Prix in 2010.

  5. I dont know in a medical staff, but can anyone write here something about spleen? Is it a very important organ that makes impossible to normal live if removed?

You can have your spleen removed with no danger to your life. Emiliano Sanchez, the rider at Scunthorpe recently did. However, it does make your immune system weak meaning it becomes more difficult to shake off infections and colds.

Looks Polonia might be on Setanta at this rate!!

  6. A meesage to the promotion...

If you want to look at someone for Poole next season, please look at Prmyeslaw? Pawlicki and Adrian Gomolski.

2 of the best young Poles around at the moment.

Both are injured. Gomolski had a massive smash recently out for the season. Pawlicki is out for six months at least. Awful crash. He's burst an artery and has a number of internal injuries.

Surprised they didn't give Maciej Janowski a call.

    QUOTE (Rob B @ Sep 14 2008, 08:54 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Belle Vue were lookiing at signing him before the season, think he came 4th in the Polish final last year but hasn't done too much this year.

He's struggled at a higher level basically.

  7. Because he rode well tonight with an obvious injury. And he did say that he would be having sugery in the winter and would carry on riding unless he had another big crash.

Puk had been riding well in the GPs up until he got his injury even making a final and looked a different rider this time around.

Iversen deserves a second chance. Clearly yesterday suffering from his injury in his gating, fighting on an ultra slick track and to get pass riders.

Fair play to the three guys who qualified - but I'd say it could do them more harm than good.

By my reckoning, we'll still have Iversen, Harris and Lindgren return as wild cards.
