Lakeside V Kings Lynn 19.06.15
KevtheRev replied to tellboy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Agreed not a fair comment - Didn't hear anyone booing Lambert. Most were looking forward to seeing him. His move on Bech was OTT, but as soon as he crossed the finish line he was trying to apologise to Bech. He knew he'd gone to far and was trying to do the right thing. Respect for trying to do that and also to Bech for not throwing his toys out of the pram. -
John Cook Talks A Lot Of Sense
KevtheRev replied to oldtimer's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I applaud Jon for having the Fans Forum. However, we are then presented with a situation where we have no speedway for 2 weeks, 1 meeting, no speedway for another 2 weeks, then we have 2 meetings in the space of 4 days, all because of SKY - ludicrous. -
Lakeside V Belle Vue Select 29/5

With only 14 league matches, that's all we get now over a season! -
Wolves V Lakeside Hammers 25/05/15
KevtheRev replied to ShropWolf's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I was really impressed with Jacobson this afternoon and even more Kasper Lykke , who rode much better than Boxhall and Kus. -
Ah but this year our pants are even bigger with a few stains and skiddies. BTW, drying up around her now.

I would hope that the rain will be of benefit and produce a track that will give us some racing - don't think it will be too much to worry about. My fear is that they will scrap all the dirt off and we'll have a bore fest. Needless to say a third successive home loss on a crap track would be disastrous, especially with no meetings for 3 weeks.

Not right that half our fixtures are run in the first 2 months and for the remaining 5 months, there are only 8 fixtures!!!!

Kent Kings V Mildenhall Tigers Nt 04/05
KevtheRev replied to blueherb777's topic in National League Speedway
Made my first visit to Central Park and was impressed by the whole setup. Great stadium, facilities etc everything except the track. Never seen a track so devoid of dirt (and I go to Lakeside!!!) and the blue groove was beyond a joke. At the end it looked slippy out there and a few falls at the end seemed to prove that. Also why did the water cart only come out twice and on both occasions for only 1 lap. -
Lakeside V Coventry Friday 1/5/15

Well done to the Bees - entertaining meeting. Vatcher proved once again what an absolute tool he really is. All this talk of sacking, He's the one that should go. -

Remembering #rico Spring Classic Friday 20th March - 7:00pm

Agree with all the above apart from the great racing. Almost no overtaking on a track that was pretty sparse in terms of dirt. -

Big question is, will Ward do a John Terry - Get his leathers on and collect the trophy? -

Anything can happen in speedway - especially if money has changed hands !!! -
Can't believe some of the comments on here. How is Danny more of a team player than Lewis? If the Brummies come back (and I hope they do) then Danny will be back there IMHO. 2 years ago, Lewis could have taken the easy option and doubled up the the PL, like some others. But he took the brave option to branch out into Poland in an effort to better himself. He should have been given more credit for that decision. The guys has improved for the last 2 seasons and certainly other clubs are now sniffing around to see his availability. I'd like to see AJ, Bech, Lewis, Kim & Richard back in the Hammers colours in 2015.

Coventry V Poole ( Good V Evil) 15/9/14 Sky Meeting
KevtheRev replied to Jacques's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I must admit that did cross my mind too. Give Poole the 4 points let them finish top and choose Coventry, only for the Bees to show their true colours and track. -

Agent Watt has been activated and will do all he can to get the team he loves so much at the top of the table. -
Lakeside V Poole (part 2) Friday 5th September.
KevtheRev replied to Skidder1's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Surprised nobody has mentioned Agent Watt in ht13. Walked past the pits between heats 14 & 15. Everyone was talking to each other, except for Watt who had nobody within 6 feet of him. FFS Poole please take him back. -

Middlo is getting stick for his Hypocritical Tweet. Actually laughing at all the Poole supporters and how wound up they are - such short memories. -
Lakeside Vs Poole 1st Sept (sky Meeting)
KevtheRev replied to SCB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
What Fans - with 2 matches against poole in a week and absolutely no incentive, I'd say most Lakeside are watching this from the comfort of their sofa. -
Lakeside Vs Poole 1st Sept (sky Meeting)
KevtheRev replied to SCB's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Richard Lawson would be top of my list too. Closely followed by Lewis Bridger. I'm also happy with Adam and Ben. Kim came in late in the day and I'd give shot from the season start given his impressive Swedish form. If Mikkel can commit ( and we haven't pi55ed him off) then he's a must. That leaves Davey - who can go back to Poole. We can then bring back AJ. -
A six month ban would be pointless. He could race next year and currently sits in the top 8 of the GP and may even get a wild card place if he misses out. Needs to be much longer to have any effect. 9 Months at least.

...and also irrelevant.

Poole Pirates Vs Lakeside Hammers 13/8/2014
KevtheRev replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
How do you get it full screen? I actually like the feed - no stupid biased presenters and I think the noise quality is very good, and he picture quality is good too. The location of the camera is better at some tracks - Poole is pretty poor. I usually have the Updates page up as well so I can see whose in the heats.
