He was that bad, Batch passed him once, then let him re-pass just to pass him again

Have to say, that was a great meeting to watch, yes we won comfortably but the racing was very good.
Only Brady & Josh put up a fight, not happy with NK in heat 3 putting left turns down the straights on TM.. he's better than that.
Shame this one wasn't on the telly as it was far superior than Monday's meeting.

so with Poole being far stronger using RR for Worrall i can only see 1 winner tonight, but Swindon will take a point.

we should have enough in the locker, let's hope the ref plays ball and starts the races in a timely manner, not holding them to 'catch riders out' ..... does my nut in when they hold the tapes for so long.

Thumbs up to Swindon presenters tonight. Excellent banter and quality interviewing and comments. Great last heat from Batchelor...... just like the old days.... send the fans home Happy well the Home Fans at least!!!!
you're right there lefty, or is that left... I'm confused
On a track that produced close racing but was difficult to pass on, heat 15 blew that comment out of the water.
We did indeed go home happy after Batch's efforts in 15.

It'll be nice to have a full team again, looking forward to seeing how we fair against the Aces on Monday.
I'm going for 48-42 to the Robins.

just scanned through all the issues on here and and with a depleted side, we only lost by 12... saw the heat 3 clip and none of those riders were full throttle...
If the track was as crap as what i have been reading then Poole speedway should be reported as this has been going on for years with holes around Wimborne Road.
Hang your heads in shame.

Can't see a thread so let's get this one going.....
Home debut for Ellis Perks, Toby back after his shoulder injury.
For me, the Pirates are always good value around the Abbey, old and new, so here's to a tight meeting with the Robins coming out by 8

my prediction is a win by 12

Kings Lynn is pretty much gate and go... if Lampart traps like we know he can then he could easily score 5 points.

like hyabb17 said above, check it out.

should be a close one today, if last night's meeting is anything to go by.

after watching last night's meeting against Poole, there is only one way this track will go, and that's for the better.
Great close racing throughout, which is what everyone wants, just need Toby to look where the white line is

Doesn't change what an awful decision it was. It gives them the inside gate whichever way you look at it.
Fortunately didn't cost us, mainly due to Becker.
Decent result though as well under strength without Nick Morris. Once he is back Wolves will be very tough to crack at Monmore.
Missed opportunity for Swindon.
8 paid 9 return doesn't tell me 'well under strength', i admit it's always better to go with 7 riders, but at home Nick was covered as well as could be to be fair.
Glad to get so close as it was our 1st meeting of 2019... roll on at the 'New' Abbey, fingers crossed all goes smoothly with the changes that have been done.

given the time this track has had to 'bed' in, i'll be shocked if there isn't any issues with it during this opener...
but, it's a tough open meeting for us Robins, will look to win by 6 IMO.

i going to throw this out here....
Let's assume Nick signs on the proviso of a new track, and he turns up at P & P and the track is still as it is? He's going to feel let down isn't he!
let's hope all is above board with this as i reckon he will return to form with JD back home. Like people have said above, JD taking some pressure off his shoulders.

Personally, i feel Chris's average should be re-assessed. to take into consideration his age and the fact that he would freely admit he is not a No 1. But sadly this is Poole we are talking about..by your assumption, i reckon we should get Doyleys average reduced due to the fact he never retained his World champion tag, must be going downhill now, lets get it reduced?

one thing for sure, they need to change the music and turn it down, too bloody loud, you cannot hear the person stood next to you under the main stand.

1 hour ago, Steve0 said:It’s a valid discussion! He was pointing out that PUK did similar to Batch - yet no one is concerned - and Batch gets all the flak and a sacking. You don’t need to agree with it but I don’t see what is poisonous about it!
and Batch was KL's No.1... scoring well but don't let a similar incident muddy the waters eh!!
-
i totally agree with SS, we need a race track, there's the clue boys and girls, RACE track.
Blunsdon has been poor for a while now, i know most tracks are gate and go, but Blunsdon being a quick, big track highlights the issue, races being spread out, slower riders keeping in front of quicker ones!
We need to get this right, as it'll soon become apparent if we've failed and what gets dished up is crap.
Get the track right and the fans will be happy, although the whingers will still find something to get their nails into
