  1. Why not check back issues of SS, I'm sure they must record attendance figures...............oh hang on!

Speedway On Itv The Motorbike Show

So what's everyone's opinion of the Motorbike Show then, or am I in the wrong place? Thought I'd gone into the "Testing" forum by mistake?

    World Cup Final

There's the rub unfortunately. The Joker produced a tight finish, so as far as the TV companies and organisers are concerned, it worked, job done. And so I'm sure it will be staying

    World Cup Final

It's more like Les Kellet v Kendo Nagasaki really, grapple fans
  5. I seem to remember many negative comments over the winter when the idea of sanchez returning to the team was mooted. How easily things can change...

World Cup Race Off - 18th July 2013

So has Kelvin offered his services? It sounds as though he needs to get involved with the GB lads somehow.
  7. Indeed. If it were a proper tournament, I very much doubt we would be taking part.
  8. Proper 7 man teams and a proper tournament with proper team riding!

Don't you just love "autocorrect" sometimes?

Swc, Event Two, King's Lynn 15/7

Leaving apart the errors made in selection. Do you really think that Middlo has handled and "Managed" the team well?
  11. I'm a little saddened to see this, really. I can't help feeling it's a bit of a concerning insight into the poor state of things at Sheffield at the moment.

Exactly, such small pool to choose from, and he still managed to choose the wrong ones.

Are you a member of the Liberal Democrats by any chance?
  14. I agree you should be dropped if you perform poorly - provided you have been given a fair chance to perform. It could be argued that Cook did contribute to the team going through to the play-off, and so deserved to keep his place and further prove himself.
  15. I find it hard to lay the blame on the riders in this case, and can undestand their reaction. The GB team manager made a total hash of his team selection in the first place and that has now had an obvious impact on the riders he has dropped. I think Middlo has shown a complete lack of respect for team GB, and lack of support for the riders HE selected.

I doubt Middlo would have picked Nicholls anyway, after all we are told "he had his reasons" for picking Kennett
  17. I'm guessing now, but perhaps it's because their Chris Holder's bikes, not Davey Watts?

    Match Programmes

If the advertising space is sold efficiently, there should be no need to charge anything for a program.
  19. I second that as well. I seem to remember you could get a ticket deal which got you into both qualifiers, semi and the final at a pretty good discount as well. That to me seems a better way to ensure good crowds at all 4 events.

    Speedway On Eurosport

Sky no longer show the SGP & SWC - get over it

    Match Programmes

Or maybe they could have a simple scoreboard, visible at the track so there'd be no need for a program??

    Why No Speedway Track...?

Talking of sarcasm, if the new Belle Vue stadium doesn't interest you, then why make the sarcastic comment above?
  23. Given that Sky do not now show SGP or SWC in any shape or form, I would suggest that Eurosport's coverage is very much superior.
