His form after leaving Kings Lynn has been really good.

I said a few days ago i thought Sheffield would win over the two legs as they will ride the NSS better than we go at Owlerton, i still stand by that to bang 39 points in with Holder scoring a paltry two is a decent return and not enough for us in the second leg. What Wright was thinking when he came off i dont know he was never going to get the win, just sit in for the two points, if he decides to ride not fully fit as speedway riders do, that will be another minus for us, i dont know when Lambert last rode there but i can see Sheffield getting the jump out the starts and pulling the deficit back by at least halfway. Ive always been of the mind the real champions are the team that finish the regular season top, im not changing my opinion on that just because my team is involved, but it makes it easier to take losing out after finishing third rather than finishing top and losing out. Either way i just hope its a good race meeting and theres always the Kelham Island tavern to drown the sorrows

At least Lemon is learning from the From the Ford school of manipulating the rules.

Yep ok, we are way down the ringer league, oh and your going to look silly when Sheffield turn this around, 12 isnt enough.

But they wont lose it, 12 is not going to be enough

One sided meeting pa with the result never in doubt despite the constant “bigging it up” by the TV commentators. FTG features in all but a few heats.
Not for me anymore. Why even bother with the forum then? Just walk sway and find anther interest, you couldnt pay me to go to cricket but i wouldnt dream of commenting on their forums

Are Sheffield doing online tickets for the final? I ask because i read it was pay only on the turnstile but on their website clicking the links for online sales takes you to checkout with ticket price etc?

I am sure most Swindon fans enjoyed winning the trophies and now it is very sad and upsetting to lose another track, if you saw Lee Kilby on TV you could see the pain written all over his face.
I hope Belle Vue fans enjoy their victory without any fears that their club could close at a time when so many clubs are under threat of closure or have already closed.
Sad whats happened at Swindon those clubs who have secure futures cannot exist if clubs all around them are closing.

I think over the two legs Sheffield will come out on top, i just think they will ride our place better than we do theirs, the reserve positions could also be telling, Norick can score well at home but away? Mountain has been impressive around the NSS and will certainly go well around Owlerton. Charles cant afford to start off with a couple of poor rides like he did in the semis and hopefully Tom is fully over his Glasgow crash which affected his form last Monday. As for the Lambert factor just let him go and look to pack the minor placings behind him, he cant win meetings on his own, obviously i want us to prevail but this is the play offs and we all know Belle Vue dont do play offs dont we? Law of averages and all that?

I think you could be right, they can get round our place better than we get round Owlerton, they will probably let Lambert go and look to negate his heats by 3 alls, plus its Belle Vue and play offs and we all know how that normally turns out

We have seen in the past Poole bringing in Hancock and Wolves bringing in Woffinden, now we bring in Lambert, forgetting how the rules were written seasons ago these moves did not break any rules but the one thing i dont really agree with is riders who dont commit fully to British speedway using us as a couple of extra paydays when the overseas commitments have ended, You can have nothing but admiration for Doyles continued commitment to the sport here.

No doubt Ipswich will be better in Manchester on Monday, theres no pressure on them and they can just go out and enjoy themselves, Doyle is superb everywhere, Tungate and Batchelor can certainly ride the NSS as can King, the other semi could be a close one but Sheffield are in form and i would still put the down as favorites overall.

Brady Kurtz been much improved this season.

I was terrified when Belle Vue were linked with Batchelor pre season, and thats the reason, bobbins.

Ive got a ticket for Uriah Heep next Monday, could go now but will still take the hit on that one for the second leg.

Weve given Lemon pelters in the past over some of his decisions, whats witches fans opinions about Hawkins? Do you think thats it for him?

BV have had bags of good fortune tonight.
Makes up for all the injuries weve had during play offs, think weve managed 4 injury free teams in 12 matches or something like that.

The meeting can still be turned round as we have capitulated before in the final five heats, hopefully we see it out, result apart very poor fare.
