Are you for real? The decision was taken early as the evening forecast is for rain and with the possibility of thunderstorms.
Now if the forecast turns out to be inaccurate then have your say.

Weather permitting, the Pirates taken on the Bandits on Wednesday which means the return of Chris Bomber Harris to Wimborne Road.
Bomber being a track expert will no doubt be in double figures. The Bandits appear to have run over several Black cats with injuries to key riders happening at the wrong time when they have been in good form.
Would like to think thst Poole should pickup 3 league points but not yet knowing who will be guesting for them could mean a closer contest.
Thoughts?

Hey mate, your more like a swede than a turnip.
Seriously it was a good win for Poole.
Are you coming down next Wednesday Neil?

Great win for the Pirates especially in securing 4 league points.
Agree that Drew Kemp was the match winner. The heat 12 5-1 over Eric Riss and then again in heat 14 was sublime.
The live stream was good although I did experienced some buffering.
Up the Pirates.

After last weeks disappointing result and performance down at Plymouth the Pirates take on the Diamonds at Wimborne Road.
This should be a straight forward victory on paper but there is no room for complacency.
Thoughts.

Well done mate the Gladiators deserved thier victory and were much more tenacious when out gated.

Well done to the Gladiators tonight. Thoroughly deserved on the night.
Chris Harris was a good choice of guest and his track craft was sublime.
Not the best of nights for the Pirates but that's Speedway.
The Gladiators will be a tough nut to crack at home.
Well done, just remember you Gladiator fans the Pirates will be hungry for revenge.

Coventry, have some of the worst fans in speedway. Gloating when they win and bad mouthing when they loose
Who exactly reacted happly to the demise of the Bees ?
You really are a sad person if that's what you want to happen. It also makes you know different from the so called Poole fans you alleged were gloating when Brandon closed.

15 minutes ago, Endeavour said:Now that season is over. Poole fans would you rather be in top league or championship next season?
We were talking about this last night and though I can't speak for all Poole fans most have accepted racing in the championship. There is more variety having more teams although next season there will be missing both Kent Kings and Eastbourne Eagles
it's been excepted and let's be honest there isn't much difference between both leagues.

Found the Poole supporters very gracious to us in our defeat, we enjoyed some celebrations in the bar afterwards, Poole fans are the second best fans in the league after us
Thanks Cookiefan it was lovely to see you and the Tigers fans who made their voices heard you all are a credit to the sport.

It's always good at Poole with some good racing unfortunately mostly Monarchs getting passed. Our heat leaders appeared to have ran out of steam a bit at the end of the season, that's the first time all year we've lost a 5-1 in heat 13 and 15. In the league match it was 3-3 and then 1-5 so we were capable of better. Best team over the 2 legs won and deservedly so. It is great to see large crowds at the speedway at Poole just a shame with all the matches getting crammed in we couldn't get decent travelling support for either leg or even a more deserving size of home support at the Edinburgh leg. We were intending staying for the Friday evening match as well but were back up the road early after the postponements.
For the Monarchs it has been a decent season with some really good moments and some fgreat performances but a winter to think of what might have been and roll on 2022.
Thanks for that Scotchopper. Steve and I would have come and said hello if we had known who you were. Thanks for the kind words. At least you were gracious in defeat and an honest assessment of the two legs overall.
It's a pity that a certain Mr Jan Andersen couldn't bring himself to be more pleasant.
Hope to get up to Armadsle next season as Steve and I were on the Northern tour in the summer when we had that horrendous weather.
See you hopefully next season.

You really have a problem with your anti Poole stance in your posts. I don't recall you being gracious in defeat either after the Cup final.
Each to their own.

Looking forward to trip up to Glasgow on Tuesday. Not an ideal time to travel with the Cop26 climate change conference taking place in the city or the cold weather that November brings but that's the way it is.
I have visited the city on several occasion's normally in the summer months and have been to Ashfield many times and enjoyed the racing and chatting with the Glasgow fans.
To set the record straight not all Poole fans are arrogant or self righteous as I think some on this forum believe.
Steve likes a bit of banter but he isn't vindictive.
We both are flying up on Tuesday and would be great to meet up with Glasgow fans before the meeting.
See you all on Tuesday
Let the battle for the title commence.

Going up to Perry Bar on Wednesday and I agree that it won't be a walk In the park
I am sure thst Poole will treat the Brummies with respect and will all need to be on form to get a result.
