  1. Sounds like it was re-arranged in conjunction with Pedersen pulling out of the SEC at Gdansk!
  2. Except for the Garry Stead benefit meeting that was without doubt the most packed I've ever seen Owlerton. Including a few PLRC's & Simon Stead farewell. Did not see any diversion signs except pointing right at the closed junction, I went around the traffic island twice.
  3. Whatever, nit picking.. Kings Lynn are still operating with a team that don't have a hope of winning a meeting. Before the averages changed Riss was Stars #1, he isn't even #1 for his Championship side (below Harris 2/3/4 in P'boro averages). Now Jorgensen is your #1, he's not even in the top two of his Championship sides averages (below Ellis, 3/4 in Sheffield averages & Aarnio).
  4. In terms of British rider development that's good news. Lambert may make top 8 in GP's, but if he doesn't and doesn't get a Wildcard I'm sure he'd get an SEC wildcard even if he doesn't qualify through qualifiers. Bewley is gaining valuable experience in world class company.
  5. 17th in averages in eWinner 1 between Lahti & Milik. Can't find Elitserin averages
  6. Impressive show of revenge from Gorzow in Czestochowa, best I've seen Wozniak ride for a few years. Lindgren poor for hosts. FZG were lucky to get 30 points in Lublin, only Hampel's ineptitude meant they did Tonder toppling Zagar out the meeting didn't help their cause. Zagar looked like he had a point to prove in his first ride One day Wiktor Lampart might learn how to defend a lead.
  7. Not last night, if Jorgensen were #1 Kings Lynn wouldn't be able to have a guest for Riss.
  8. Excellent their scores may have been but you built a team on 2019 averages & both obviously have a lower average than Riss as he's riding at #1, he isn't even #1 in his Championship team.
  9. Ellis? I'd put him behind Holder, Bewley, Kurtz & C Wright as far as his impact on the meeting was concerned but along with Brennan & Rowe he's the only rider I'd not complain about the performance of as a team manager.
  10. Weak from 1-7! Barely a heat leader let alone a #1.
  11. Took me a few seconds to figure out why I was listening to "Who do you think you are kidding Mr Hitler" during the parade on Monday... When do Dad's army invade Monmore, I might go for the first time since Soou-pah Troopah retired.
  12. A bit of a slow burner, but definitely improved, the middle few heats especially. Rowe wins it for Sheffield with two 1 points towards the end when re-passing Brennan and one of the Worrall's. I'd be interested to hear who the hefty contingent of Ace's fans point the finger as for the loss. Kurtz was awful first few rides, I've seen him ride Owlerton much better, also allowed Holder to bully him to the first turn in heat 15 and both Worrall's were passed when in points scoring positions. C Wright wasn't gating, Etheridge touching tapes in heat 2 and Bewley started slowly. For Sheffield, Batchelor isn't right, totally not interested if he doesn't gate, Howarth was entertainingly up & down. After his first ride when he went too wide trying to pass S Worrall when it was never on and it allowed C Wright to pass Ellis did as much as could be expected. Holder was untouchable except for heat 13, when he retired after a lap - did Batchelor get in his way? Difficult to tell from bends 3&4. Barely noticed Sedgmen! J Wright was on the pace but never looked like scoring. Having now done all 3 this year, Owlerton is a better drive from North Wolverhampton than NSS & EoESg even when the closest M1 junction to Owlerton is shut south bound on the way home! With no diversions in place. So glad I know Worksop has an M1 junction and was sign-posted.
  13. Whats the car parking situation at Owlerton?
  14. Via Lambert's social media I've seen Lejonen won away, I assume that was the uninspiring televised match? Agree from what I've seen (very limited) Vastervick is the best track in Sweden, Vetlanda the worst, Hallstavik in a not too distant second Malila, Kumla & Eskilstuna all usually Ok.
  15. Are there always that many & such a wide variety of vehicles used to prep the track at EoES? Thought Brennan & Howarth were reasonable for Tigers, Wright wasn't too far off the pace Batchelor in particular & Sedgmen were the disappointments.
  16. Good meeting. Palin was superb. A case I feel of the tortoise beats the hare. In Holder, Ellis, Howarth (& Batchelor twice) the Tigers out paced the Panthers but kept getting in each others way. Some great races. Heat 2.. The Andersen/Pedersen 5-1 & Palin allows MPT to escape the TS. More when I wake up 1 lane open on both the M1 & M6 for periods on the way back. Epic Boo!!!!! Is it always that cold at the EoES?
  17. Big hitting heat 2. Lucky Bewley, out after track prep every race & inside twice.... there won't be any passing on the Gdansk track!
  18. Thanks. Taking my supermarket trolley quid!! I'll have to acquire another one
  19. Weather forecast isn't brilliant.
  20. Lublin have a big say in who finishes bottom, realistically they should win fairly comfortably in both home fixtures. Fancy Torun to bear them in Torun.
  21. I see. Grudziadz are stuffed unless they can pull off something spectacular. FZG are the least likely to get another point out of those 3, but I can't see Grudziadz getting more than 6 league points. FZG got a draw at Grudziadz.
  22. Torun have 70 odd point advantage (-46 compared to -119), assuming they get the aggregate bonus when they visit Grudziadz next weekend it will surely mean Grudziadz will finish bottom. Don't give Grudziadz much chance of making up 20 points as Torun win easily in the reverse fixture 55-35.
