  1. Make it 4 out of 4! A gentle slide off, no issues.
  2. Hope you're not a serial better!
  3. Looks a world beater if he gates, completely disinterested if he doesn't.
  4. No problem with track tonight. Mostly down to the tractors doing more laps than the riders to keep the dust in check
  5. Party time. We have a bowser!
  6. Agreed. One ride each for Morris & Shanes, then it's hope Paco is in the mood to venture from the curb, think I'd put Thomas in heat 1. Get one of his necessary 3 rides complete & give him a run out before heat 2. 1 comically slow ride in heat 2 and then an impressive ride later in the meeting last week, but Morris & Shanes did allow him the entire track to go around them. Haven't seen Jack Smith for a while but suspect this strengthens the Tigers.
  7. Didn't do much at PB & Owlerton when I saw him in 2019.
  8. Ellis' score in Sweden tonight suggest he isn't suffering with injury
  9. I agree but I think it's as much down to the continual depletion of riders that British Speedway is able to attract as it is to anything. When I had a season ticket for a few years Wolves could boast Lindgren, Hamill & Karlsson compare riders to their current heat leaders and the difference is obvious. The visitors have obviously depleted in a similar vein and when riders only need to visit such a small track once a year (as Purfleet & Kirky Lane Greyhound stadium are no longer on their agendas) where is the incentive to learn the skills to race it? I'm guessing Foxhall is the premiership track closest in size & shape to Monmore... I've never been but going on what I've seen on TV. But it is considerably bigger I'd think.
  10. Monmore can produce some great racing, but it needs to be prepared right & have riders that are not intimidated by it. There is sadly a lack of such riders in the UK league.
  11. The only thing unexpected & disappointing about the meeting (on TV) was the emergence of a Monmore blue groove and a lack of water on the track. If there is a hosepipe ban in the West Midlands, I wasn't aware of it. The racing was OK, fairly entertaining Monmore affair, Tigers locking up trying not to drift wide. The lack of water made the outside run futile after a bit, to Batchelors benefit but not Ellis. Considering I don't think I have visited two more diametrically opposed race tracks in the UK I thought Tigers scored more points than they would. The only two teams I can see possibly getting a losing bonus points at Monmore are Aces & if the Panthers are able to collectively roll back the years. Don't know, not sure I've seen a current "Ace" at Monmore. The Worralls certainly know it well enough and I'd hope Bewley/Wright would be able adapt better to it then most Aussies. Kurtz I can imagine hating Monmore, Hope no serious injuries from tonight's accidents.
  12. Unlike Premier Sports we have Free Sports as part of the package, I'll check schedule for next week. But I'd watched everything except the last few heats of Gorzow match via stream/YouTube.
  13. Grudziadz need to win else they could be cast adrift. Other than Torun's visit (match day 11) I can't see any chance of them getting another league point. Torun have 20 point aggregate advantage also. Found a YouTube of heat 15, Zmarzlik certainly didn't fall, but he did muck up the exit of turn two on lap 1. Another mistake on the final bend could have cost him second think he might have passed Doyle on the run into the line.
  14. Huckenbeck £80 less. Dudek £80 more. Milik £80 less.
  15. This SportweFacty translation can't surely be correct? Can it?
  16. You mean that noise that accompanies every replay? It's been the same for 4 years!
  17. After that ride from Karczmarz doubt Birkemose will be seen again tonight. Leszno look in the mood for an upset.
  18. FZG are putting all their Eggs in heat 14 basket, to get the meeting won but barring a disaster from Predpelski & J Holder in 15 aggregate bonus is Torun's.
  19. Heat win (or 3-3) in 14 & Torun get the aggregate bonus, job done.
  20. Zagar isnt as bad as Kasprzak. He won a heat earlier. If Torun want the aggregate bonus. I think Lambert is going to need to be busy in the last few heats.
  21. Great heat 9 for Torun, looked critical to the result. Przedpełski took Fricke wide allowed Lambert to cut back, Lambert then rounded Zagar. Don't think Fricke did Zagar any favours.
  22. Miedzinski took one for the team heat 3, big shove on Dudek allowed Holder to pull clear. Dudek looks well down on power in heat 6. Better in heat 8.
  23. Protasiewicz is finished? Lewandowski never looked in control entering turn 2, heat 2. Zupinski made it too easy for Ragus, rookie error, but at least he made it around the first corner at third attemp.
