Leicester V Scunthorpe Sat 6th April 7.30pm Plus Track & Toilet Debates

Same here. First visit and very impressed with the set up, also got a goodnight from the car park staff. Pretty slick presentation too. Overall, not sure about the track - maybe the excitement of supporting my team took a bit away from the experience. Will give it a few more visits though. One downer was the fact that for me and my two kids (10 and 7) it was more expensive than going to Wolves! -

British Grand Prix 2012

Particularly the final - great racing after the interval then drag all the dirt back to the inside for the final. Why? Its a much better spectacle when you have riders mid track on the dirt line with others able to go deeper or try the inside charge... -
Cardiff Grand Prix

Excellent GP - the best for racing I can remember - until they graded the life out the track for the last 4 qualifying heats and the finals. Why???!!! PA was awful - couldn't hear any of it on 3rd bend. Great day out and well done to Cardiff council for the street fair - nice way to kill a couple of hours with 4 kids! -
The meeting took so long because of the numerous crashes and resulting delays as riders and bikes were checked over. In all the other races the two minutes warning was on for the next race as the riders from the previous race were riding back along turns 1-2 into the pits so its not like they were slow with it. 8.15 - whats the problem? It will have allowed a lot more people to make it to the meeting. I live in Leicestershire and would have really struggled to make a 7pm start as some have suggested. Not everyone can get time off work to go to a speedway meeting.

Hi Czechhero I've got the Daily Mirror Speedway Yearbooks for 1976-81 (I think) so I can have a look in there for you as they had all scores, averages etc in for any touring sides. They're all in the loft though so it will have to wait until tomorrow night if that's okay. I'll see how much info I can gather for you from them. Cheers Alan
