Belle Vue - Swindon 10-9-14
Phil The Ace replied to A ORLOV's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I'm going for a slight belle vue win tonight. Just have this little feeling. You do have to be optimistic though just to turn up. If it's anything like the last match a few weeks ago then we're in for a belt er. Can't wait -

Apparently the Manchester evening news are reporting we have been given the green light for the new stadium. The hearing is suppose to be tomo though so they may have jumped the gun -

The EL might not be what it was 15 years ago but I'd bet my house that every EL team would beat a PL team home and away -
Today's the day it could get the green light. So good luck. And all my toes and fingers are crossed http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/news/greater-manchester-news/full-throttle-10m-belle-vue-2576266

Yes they stated that it would have temp art stands taking it to double the capacity. So will be interesting if that happens. I did notice though somewhere that it changed to elite league standard stadium -

Belle Vue V Coventry 1st September, 2014
Phil The Ace replied to Aces51's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
What's worse is the 1 rider we thought would struggle (toft) as been our rider of the season. On last night we did ride our bollocks off. We was just beaten by a better team who for me will make the final. They all rode well -

I think we had potential that just has not delivered Cook as been very poor and I hate D/U riders riding in the heat leader position. Just doesn't work Nielsen as also been poor. Been ok at home but away from home he's like a wobbling junior. And we will leave the 2nd reserve. We all know the answer to that Something is amiss within the club. We have had plenty of decent line ups. But they never seem to ride to there potential. There has to be a reason. But what is it Next year I'd keep zagar nicholls and toft. -

Alot of teams have approached zagar to guest in the past. But he's not interested one bit. It will take alot of dosh to get him guesting. We had that problem with the Pawlicki's a few times this year. They just won't guest
