Can't keep up with them all to be honest!!! But will update as soon as I can!
  2. Roynon dropping to reserve should ensure that this is kept a bit closer than last time. However, unless Nicki Pedersen and Tai Woffinden turn up for the Bears next week in the return leg, I expect this tie to be over come the end of Friday night...

There was a lot of value last night if you were brave to think that Lakeside wouldn't do a Glasgow!!! (Edinburgh v Glasgow, June 4th, 2010!!!!) I personally had my second loser of the week when I foolishly thought they could keep it to a 20pt gap (Considering they kept it to 15 earlier in the season with what really looked a slightly weaker team!!!) Onwards and upwards to the next one!

    Somerset 2015

And why would it be on TV? SKY probably spat the dummy the day after last years' event saying that unless the home team (or whatever team contains boy wonder Morris) win, irrespective whether the ref follows the rules or not, we're not going to show it!!!!!!!!!! lol

Mine for the evening was Holder over 8 at 8/11... Refund is better than a loss!

Not that I feel I have to explain, but, £7.50 on walasek and £5 on each of doyle/jonsson and BV +20 at coventry. £15 back from the walasek bet, £6.67 from the BV bet and lost on the Doyle / Jonsson bet. £15 staked, £21.67 returned. Modest, but in profit. I said earlier that I had put on 52 singles since beginning of the season and had 30 winners, 22 losses... Put £20 into the account at season start and currently at £122... Therefore, the modest winnings pay dividends... Not greedy bur in profit, that does me and I'll see where I am come season end. On a separate note, never liked Bjerre before and detest him even more now!

Two out of the three I had came in... Walasek under 7 at evens was the steel and Bv at Coventry... Only the Doye v Jonsson didnt... Decided not to go on the Kylmakorpi v Grajczonek in the end with the R/R for the latter being the deciding factor... Also gone for a small stake double on Bjerre over Madsen match up in Riga and Smolinski over Bellego in Italy

Where did I say it was easy? I've had 52 single bets on Speedway this season and won 30 of them - fairly even split and that's only due to the last 9 or 10 otherwise it'd be a lot different... What I'm saying is there are still bets out there that if you do a little bit of research, are a little safer than some of the ones the bookies list... AJ for example last night at over 10... Normally you'd say it was fairly safe - especially when he'd also have a R/R as well as most probably ht15... However, he didn't do Ht15 on Monday for whatever reason, his previous appearance this season at Norfolk arena was patchy and he'd be up against the home heatleaders most of the time... Take that against the Porsing v Kennett bet which was much more tempting... I'm doing a track update tonight, but if I get a chance and I put a bet on, I'll certainly post it. Don't blame me though if you back the same bet and it loses... That's your choice.

That's why people really need to do a bit of research - the way you lose money is going with your heart instead of your head and understanding who goes well at what track... My last 9 bets on the bounce on speedway meetings are all winners and last night continued the train with the rather easy to predict Porsing vs Kennett with 0.0 H/Cap at 4/5!!! Practically doubled the money and with a little bit of looking back through the last few meetings, seeing who each rider would be up against in the meeting plus looking at the last time Kennett was there, even with an extra R/R for Kennett, it was still a fairly safe bet to take... Result? Porsing 8+1 from 4, Kennett, 6 from 5 (and that was one of his better Norfolk Arena meetings)!

Whereas I'm now the newest member of the Dimitri Berge fanclub after his "all of a sudden - let's come to the party" display meant Glasgow kept it to within 8pts!! And me a Monarch too - proof right enough that you bet with your head, not heart!!! how embarrassing!!!

Surely the safest bet was Glasgow on a +8 H/Cap at 4/7...
  13. How many more Janowski / Hansen incidents do we need to actually do something about this? He pulled out of his 5th/6th ride as he couldn't continue yet had still scored heavily in the meeting? I mean, really? This isn't just impacting on Workington (who I feel sorry for) but also Edinburgh who are losing the gate with no Workington supporter's coach travelling north for this meeting... The Comets always used to bring a healthy following North with them but it's dwindled in the past couple of seasons and now has disappeared apart from those hardy soles who will drive up themselves this evening...

In fairness though, this happens all the time - sometimes they go for you, and sometimes they don't... I also took the North over Masters bet last night so I lost too. However, If I'd have not been in a rush and realised that Masters would take an extra ride then I'd not have gone for this one...
  15. So you're saying that supporters would far more want to sit and watch a live speedway match on TV of other teams in their division rather than go and watch their own team live at the stadium??? Surely this is shows the sorry state of what the EL has become in this modern era of our great sport... If this is what the EL has come to, then you might as well give me that hammer, and I'll put that final nail in... Seems all the common sense comes from the PL!!! It's not too much for riders to race GP on a Saturday, Poland Sunday, Sometimes UK Monday, Sweden Tuesday, Sometimes Denmark Wednesday et al... Hell, they'd have Friday and for most, Saturday off so I don't see the issue. The stability it would create in the UK EL must be something that needs looked at...
  16. And here we go with the EL snobbery yet again... Get yer head's out of your own backsides and accept the fact that Cook is an Edinburgh asset just as Grajczonek is a Somerset asset... Cookie is contracted firstly to Edinburgh. Edinburgh race on Friday nights, always have done. Why not move the Lakeside fixture with Belle Vue to their alternative race night? Why should a PL team play second best to the far from Elite League? Are Cook and Grajczonek going to improve substantially by racing in the EL where there is one rider per team that is above PL quality? No... There are far more underlying issues with the EL than just riders missing meetings due to honouring the teams they are assets of... The problem is that there is no consistency in the EL anymore. The top leagues in other countries ride on the same day. If the EL is to survive, they have to do the same - they have to ride on Monday's. Simple. Don't go blaming PL teams and riders for the shambolic setup of the EL.

    Poole V Leicester May 27th

So that'd be only the 3 guests in this one then...???!!!!!!

Yeah, because it takes as much skill to go quickly down a straight road as it does to complete 4 laps of a shale track on a bike that's wanting to pull your arms off - oh and lets throw another 3 guys on there at the same time to make it interesting...

    Lewis Bridger

Should have his speedway licence revoked and not be allowed to race.
  20. Why when you've got a perfectly good product at Premier League level, would it need to be sacrificed to cover the ridiculous failings of the not-so-Elite league?

Had Wolves at -6pts after Ht 5 with Ladbrokes!!! Wolves generally start strongly at home and with Lakeside struggling to put a team out that would compete in the NL, it was a no brainer - backed by the 20-10 scoreline after 5hts:) However, that was tempered by the -4pt H/Cap for Poole to win at Leicester which ended bang on 4pts:( I mean... Chris Holder 3pts? Really? Do you have to be so blatant in dropping your average for when Ward is ready to return??? Grrrrr!!!!!
  22. Ah, fair play, never knew that. Thanks for reply...
  23. I don't get why Kildemand isn't riding? It says he missed the Leicester match through injury and would also be missing for the Coventry match tonight... However, he rode yesterday in Abensberg so why would he be missing tonight If he's still under his contract for the club??? Isn't this the same as the Janowski farce of last week when he pulled out of the Belle Vue meeting or am I missing something??

Went for Wells to outscore Porsing on a 0.0 h/cap with Ladbrokes at Evens... Easy money!
  25. Think Davies at reserve will ensure that the Scorps keep it reasonable though I don't see them taking a point from this meeting... Certainly don't see us hitting 60+... Was wondering which way the Edinburgh management would go, and thought straight away that a guest for Erik and R/R for Justin would've been stronger as everyone bar Sam could've taken an R/R. However, Doolan is a cracking guest and with KW able to take an R/R, I'm more than happy with that setup!!! Monday's return could be a whole different ball game however...
