I didn't but almost every speedway fan in the local vicinity went to Peterborough last year, people tell me it was an awesome atmosphere!

Licensed officials of course ....

I think there should be a ref's assistant stationed on the apex of both bends too.

Refs should make the fair decision which includes NOT excluding anyone .....

I'd have liked to hear a podcast about Lynn's meeting against Peterborough this week. Two controversial refereeing decisions, two wrong decisions that could've lost Lynn the meeting!

I doubt you'll be disappointed ..... you're allowed to not care so much anymore, it happens to long term speedway fans.

Quite right. In my late teens snd twenties I was part of a big group of friends, we had loads of fun and banter on race nights. Lynn, as a team, didn't win the league or anything but it didn't matter, we witnessed some great riders and great racing (as it happens lol). I now stand with a good group of people, the banter has gone but we back our team 100%, we like good racing but I think for us it's most important for Lynn to win. This year has been testing to say the least but it's easy to find positives from every meeting.

People still keep going to Cardiff to watch rubbish speedway, yet the GP Series is 'pro'! Not every Polish meeting is fantastic .... hmmmmm

Yeah, will always love a good speedway meeting .....

It's still 14 blokes racing one another m8 ........ our product is more familiar for us fans, we can see in our pits during meetings, our riders don't have to be protected from away fans, they're interviewed during meetings, many clubs have press conferences with their fans after meetings etc etc. Poland is ok, I'm glad I live in the UK though and have my local team to support

No, basically the same, 7 riders racing for your team barring injury. Polish fans respect the riders, put them on pedestals for what they do, some British "fans" have no respect for the skills of the riders, some of us take them for granted basically and can't see beyond riders "gardening" or meetings not finishing in an hour flat! Poland don't provide their fans with anything more than their team and their track and a few flags on race night (I saw no evidence when I went to Gorzow anyhow) but we expect soooooo much more ........

What do you mean it's falling apart? Is the terracing dangerous? If it's OK for stock car fans it's OK for us isn't it?

You're right about older and long term fans, just look at the bloody moaning on here LOL Polish fans just love their teams and are proud of the riders who race for them, a TOTALLY different mind set to us! Polish fans need nothing more than to roll up, fly their flags and banners, chant their riders' names and cheer their teams from start to finish.

What do you want the promoters to do? Bearing in mind we don't have enough riders or money to have 10 teams in the BPL with no doubling up in the BCL? We don't have enough teams who want to race BPL, there's no big TV money to encourage teams up plus they are happy with their current race nights ....

Wouldn't that be great!

So the rules are certainly more in depth than the headlines at the start of the season .....
