That is the reality of the situation and it is sad. Part of the reward for winning the under 16 title should have been sponsorship. These costs are making it tough for all amateurs and league aspiring riders like Nathan.

Maybe it was the seven or eight good ones!!!!!!

Realistically there are lots of riders that would like to take part in the NI or any other form of competition. Costs are part of the reason that this doesn't happen plus the reluctance of some promoters. Don't forget,there are more amateur riders in the UK than there will ever be professionals.

The SACU gives awards out to the speedway community at the end of the year. Why it can't go the whole hog and issue licences etc i don't understand. Maybe now talks should take place to allow Scotland the chance to compete in the world arena.
