As you and I know the garden centre opposite has been derelict for probably 20 years now and still no houses last I heard it was going back to being a garden centre what chance planning for the stadium siteBrandon Estates will want a new stadium to happen, helps there chances in future to build houses.
Yep it's the last thing he should've said!
Tal to the group on Twitter occasionally and I've said to them more than once that fans just want news when something is pretty much finalised. When Jeff tweeted yesterday I knew it would be about a site, they didn't and still don't want to raise hopes as it's in the very early stages. Confirming that a pre planning app has gone in has raised my hopes though but I do wish I didn't know about it, if that makes sense.

looks like Horton is trying to mess things up .I just wonder with what's gone on whether Horton is getting a back hander from a certain developer?http://www.savecoventryspeedway.com/news.php?extend.87
A more reliable/trustworthy source of info I would suggest.

I don't think Horton has finances avaliable to build a new track and if we do get one I for one wouldn't want Horton any where near it

think they may be looking for a new track soon? And you know this because you have facts or ''inside information''? (Despite being a fan of the blue groove track)

it won't matter anyway if you make the top four you won't go any furtherShould be an easy 3 points but will be watching with an eye on the Belle Vue meeting which we hope will be a home win and no points for Rye.

Holder could end up just as bad a signing for you as KK wasOf course he will, and as a Pirate in 2018 hopefully.

I agree then again MF might not be there unless he uses the 70th anniversary year as his last one?I'm not presuming anything - including one big league!! There are not enough riders around for one big league, aside from all the extra travel costs for riders/clubs to cover. Much more likely to go with regionalised divisions first, possibly with one being structured to be stronger than the other - although how that will work with the promotion/relegation result taken into account, who knows?
We'll need to see what rules and regs and contracts are on offer in Poland Sweden and the UK, as well as who may be making the decisions at various clubs and leagues??!
With 2018 being Poole's 70th Anniversary year (and Gavan's correct, even more so after this year) MF will undoubtedly be going all out for a crowd pleasing and winning team!!

So you are presuming the leagues will remain the same .I personally don't think they will speedway is dead on its knees like 1965 think it will be one big league with no Gp starsIts amazing that there are still those that believe the only reason Noddy didn't ride for Poole this year was his inflated high average?!
However nothing lasts forever so depending on whether there is a stupidly low points limit and/or the Poles play ball with their rules then a top 3 of Magic, Brady and Holder © isn't out of the question, with Holder (J) and Klindt in the 2nd string positions and Newman at reserve.

yes they did Gater1 which started all thisWhy would Leicester be the biggest club in football based on the logic that has been put forward ..i already said why Poole are the biggest club in the last ten years
..what have they got in common with why people are saying Poole are the biggest club ...do Leicester get the biggest crowds in the UK like Poole ?do they have the biggest budget like Poole, do they have the biggest sponsors like Poole ? of course not ,so they have nothing in common .so as i said your bit about football makes no sense or logic.as for the time scale I only said they were biggest in the last ten years and your reply was that it was untrue .not one person has said they were the biggest club of all time at any stage .

so don't make a statement that says have and always will achieve more?Coventry, Wembley & Wimbledon don't race anymore.
BV with all due respect haven't won a league title since 1993.
I don't go back to the 1990's like you guys.
-
I think Bell vue and Coventry may have something to say about that they go back a long wayThis made me laugh.
Poole have and always will achieve more than Swindon or any other British club for that matter.
Just you trying to get a bite again isn't it.

if it wasn't for Ford trying to cheat all the time this situation would have not come aboutAgain Matt Ford the only promoter to see the folly of not being able to make injury replacements. Just goes to show how he understands the rules and the repercussions of an injury after the cut off date, where others think they are invincible until an injury comes knocking.
Bad luck to Belle Vue on losing Fricke. Poole fans know what its like from last season when we lost Hans at Leicester. Not replaceable but you just have to get on with it.
Advantage Wolves if they steer clear of any injuries.

bring back Sandu and Frost hold on nobody backed them now look at the state speedway is inIt's a joke, time for an independent body to come in & run it properly. We keep making mistake after mistake & making it look so unprofessional. How can you sack/release a rider Friday but only tell them on Monday after the dead-line, shambolic!

28th JulyWow very surprised by that result. Well done Somerset on a away win at Poole.
When is the deadline for making final changes to a team? The changes Poole are making really don't seem to be making much difference although Brady is a miss.
God help them away from home as you can be certain Kennett will score less than he does at Poole
-
remember a lot of Poole fans saying that about kk at the beginning of the season in fact some said he would be unbeatable because he always had Poole at heart lolKennett is a No.1 around our place tbh. Always has been consistent around Poole.
Just the away form which is a massive problem.
Watch out for Lahti I think he will start scoring 7's and 8's per meeting soon.
Was getting 5's when KK was stuffing him at any given opportunity.

rubbishGot nothing to do with Poole.
It causes havoc for Championship teams. They are the biggest losers and it needs to be looked at.
-
just because it don't suit Poole I think it's a good rule stops Ford from filling his team with none British riders works for other teams okSundstrom you are correct 7.22
THJ's last average over here was something like 5.60.
Britain are never going to do anything on the world stage anyway. Keep some Brits in the top league.
Riders like (Cook, S. Worrall, King, R. Lambert, Harris, Nicholls and more).
Lets face it all these stupid Brit rules are just causing havoc anyway. Nearly every Brit doubles up and it causes big problems for Championship sides. Guests galore due to riders doubling up.
Keep the 2 British riders per a team rule for the Championship. Premiership should be 1 Brit per a team.
-
you haven't got long left to sign them is it the end of July the cut offBWD and Bellego were rubbish at Leicester on Monday night for starters.
As I said you can give it large but I am not bothered. The Poole 1-7 we have tonight isn't going to be the 1-7 we have come the play-offs.
Swindon and Poole will both be in the top 4.
Our boys can throw the meeting to get there averages down and we can sign big name riders in team changes.

Barker and Harris in the team spells trouble it did at Coventry ask ScottBMR and changes seem to bite them in the rear end, they changed from VW to Subaru in the BTCC, what a disaster that has been, Barker for Kennett is even worse, there's more to that than is common knowledge, one is a 100% Team man, immaculate machinery, great Team around him, and good at helping other Riders, and the other is ?
