Last thing this sport needs again is a November fixture on a neutral track.

Also no business sense when you expect the public to pay for up to 2 meetings a week, it’s a lot to pay out or even 3 meetings in 7 days.

That’s down to each club leaving big gaps between fixtures. Hence why the end of September should stand, it’s not other clubs fault. Pretty sure we had this issue last year with Leicester and Glasgow and waiting for a fixture to be completed. Before anyone jumps on the Poole situation i would agree if we can’t run our fixture against Edinburgh, we lose the tie.

Interesting, let’s see if the clear rules at the start of the season will be implemented to stop the season running into November again.

I really didn’t expect that at all, I thought a Scunthorpe win by 6-8 tonight if they rode like they did at Poole! Heat one was the wrong decision and Mountain should have gone but then Allen’s engine going while on a 5-1 worked back in our favour. Well done to the Pirates! Hope Anders is ok, if his season is now done can we sign a replacement?

Well done to Scunthorpe, wanted it more than Poole. Tracks the same for both teams so don’t want to hear the riders moaning about the track. Get on with what’s in front of you. Have a feeling Scunthorpe have this for the taking and a place in the grand final.

A 2.00 pointer, look to the future and get a young up a coming British Rider. Shame Hagon on a 2.00 has now been snapped up, proved it tonight at reserve. Why don’t the club go all out for Ashton Boughen signature when he turns 16? I’m all for giving Adam a chance, but his form has been poor the last 6 weeks. If there is a better young British option out there, that’s going to score the same 3-4 points a meeting and become an asset why not?

Adams form is a concern and his 2 engine failures are unacceptable. Boys need to dig deep.

So looking to the future, who is getting the signature of Ashton Boughen for next season?

I presume Poole will have Worrall and Rowe missing for the home match against Birmingham on the 26th?

Him slotting in would certainly make us stronger in my own opinion.
