Well said Marcus. I'm not sure the BSPA are actually that keen on supporting our GB squads whatever their ages. I did hear a rumour a while ago that they are even considering pulling the senior squad out of the WTC next year! Richard Franklin was one of the squad last night and unfortunately failed to score a point whereas here in the UK he is riding so well. Richard, as with the other boys had to find around £1,500 minimum to fund their trip. Which for young Under 19's is not easy!!! The BSPA will give them each £250 AFTER the event but that's it. What money goes into the BSPA on an annual basis - where does their money come from and then where does it go? We have this discussion year in year out. We need a full and proper development scheme for the future of our sport.

Also - our hotel has not yet been given a date but I really do hope it stays in the City. Yes it is about the GP but the PR that can be done using Cardiff is worth a million in the bank for potential sponsors. Take any possible future sponsor to Cardiff and they will take in the atmosphere and will hopefully be willing to write a bigger cheque than if at a flat event where the fans don't participate in the 'day' as much! Cardiff is the showcase even. It would be wrong for it to go.

Hey Brownie!!! I'm sure he does know best but there were 2 car parks down that road and both were still open when we walked back from GP and I don't remember them being to expensive. As I remember the Newport lot parked in there - those that worked around the track for the day.

Dali - google map Herbert Street, Cardiff. You will see that there is a large all day car park there. It say £4.50 all day (it may have risen since pictures taken). Its a short walk from the stadium and on a road where some of the hotels are. We pass it every year on our walk to and from the stadium. You will then be able to turn left out of the car park and get on your way without much trouble.

NOOOOOOO - don't mention the chips!!! LOL I'm having nightmares already about our return. That said - I still don't know what I will and wont be attending. Love the touring, but not the salary loss to do so many!
