  1. Word is young Todd Kurtz is in Pomgolia having a look - anyone seen him riding yet?

PS More bad news for Sandgropers Aussiegal & Ozyace as the Weagles took a pounding from the Mighty TIGERS at the Dome last night - Oh We're From TIGERLAND!!

Todd had a good debut at Newport today, scoring 10pts in fact he was the top scorer

2 race wins and 2 second places,

Ryan Sedgemen also had a couple of race wins, he was the only rider to beat Mark Simmonds.

  2. Melbourne is the strong favourite, has to be a venue with a roof in my opinion. So the Telstra Dome is a very short priced favourite.

Now lets hope they are sensible and have a Malaysian and or New Zealand GP within a week or two, to save costs and to help me organise a racing holiday.

A little too early for wild card picking and as for Mount Gambier staging a GP...No Chance, it would be way down the list..if existing tracks were to be considered the Brisbane Ekka would be top of my list, absolutely fantastic venue, track would need altering but that wouldn't be as difficult as laying a complete one night only track.

If a roof isn't absolutely vital, Suncorp Stadium = very similar to Cardiff and in a great location for public transport / airport etc http://www.suncorpstadium.com.au/default.asp?PageId=58

It would be great to have these GPs near each other , I can see i need to start saving again for another trip to OZ

  3. That's it! Make me feel even worse than I do now as I can't make my annual trek Down Under!   Seriously though you'll have a ball BUT one notable word of caution - beware of BFD!!!!    You HAVE been warned!

    Bryn

P.S. Er..... Don't suppose there's any chance of you bringing back a duty-free bottle of Bundy for a poor unfortunate soul who is really suffering is there?

May think about bringing you back a bottle of bundy

Thanks for the warning about BFD, although would be nice to meet him

  4. I was lucky enough to be there last season and I remember Jason Crump describing it as being 100mph into a right angled bend. The track is so huge they only do three laps, and the "safety fence" is solid concrete. A great show though with extreme Motocross and midgets in the bill. Wish I was there this time.

I am going along with family and some friends, Going with Travel plus

First time to Aussie and cannot wait,

Even better now Swindon has signed Travis and Troy as we will have someone to cheer for,

was disapointed that Leigh is not riding but can understand that he needs a rest and spend time with his family.

  5. Tickets arrived today, although it appears we've been charged £30 for a £20 child ticket. We'll be in Block D2 - backstraight.

I read somewhere that entrance tickets to the Veltins Arena included passes for public transport. The back of the ticket mentions "VRR Kombiticket" which I think could be it but can anyone translate?

The 8 tickets I received all had £30 marked on them, although only paid £20 for two of them as they are childrens tickets, We are also in block D2

  6. Try this email address

    biuro@polonia.bydgoszcz.pl

It's on the speedwayworld.tv site in the Bydgoszcz tickets section.  I emailed them to ask how to get Sector A tickets and they replied almost immediately saying you can reserve them by email. I've now done this and they have emailed me back confirming they have reserved them and that they will then contact me again for payment details.

    Hope this might help

Thanks for info, have now done this and got a reply from them as well, confirming

    tickets have been reserved.

    thanks again
