    Sheffield 2013

Good to see Birmingham consulting and obtaining feed back from the fans on change of racenight. Wonder if Sheffield might do the same

As per the Sheffield Star on a 5 point average

    Sheffield 2013

Only at amateur level on a visitors visa though........ so that could rule him in

    Sheffield 2013

I'd go with Koppe if they can research his family tree for some sort of british ancestry

    Sheffield 2013

Strange how a certain team in Scotland is trying to move away from Sunday racing to improve crowds. Whoever new supporters the club attracts will surely be negated by the ones they may lose.
  8. Does anyone knpw when the gates open?

    Vissing In Masters Out

Can't be any worse than R/R for Pepe
  10. Damned if you do and Damned if you don't If this was a match against Scunthorpe (somewhere local), then they might have run it to the line. People witth 200+ mile round trip would be well chuffed if the meeting was abandoned or called off shortly before the start. BTW - bit dark and thundery 4 miles away at the mo...........
  11. The BBC have all angles covered on tonights weather by the looks of things. The decision to call a meeting off is not decided on the various weather forecasts shown on the net. As far as I know, they take advice direct from the Met or local weather office. Watch it be sunny tonight .......
  12. BBC Weather on line weather chart shows rain over Sheffield between 7pm & 10pm tonight and this was updated 30 minutes ago. This is the difference between this week and last week where the forecast was, and we definatley had, a perfect sunny evening. I am sure that the cancellation is not without a lot of thought especially with the travelling distance involved for some. Definately a no win situation, whatever Sheffield decided. Check the radar map at the foot of the page......
  13. Taken from Sheffield Star online this morning... There has been some confusion in the build-up to the meeting, however, with Swindon now saying they will have Simon Stead in their side for their Elite League clash with Lakeside instead of riding at Sheffield. Line-up: Richard Hall (Sheffield), Ben Barker (Plymouth), David Howe (Scunthorpe), Oliver Allen (Peterborough), Lee Complin (Berwick), Tai Woffinden (Wolverhampton), Derek Sneddon (Edinburgh), Kyle Howarth (Workington), TBC, Adam Roynon (Workington), Ricky Ashworth (Berwick), Chris Mills (Glasgow), Andrew Tully (Edinburgh), James Wright (Somerset), Lewis Bridger (Eastbourne), Richard Lawson (Workington).

    Rye House 2012

Never said it was a match thread. Seems to me that a lot of Rye House think it's the same old same old,and I have to agree

    Rye House 2012

There is bad and bad but they were truly bad. Plymouth were ten times better and their track is smaller than yours Rye were'nt even there (or interested). We could have put the tractors out and still won, Let's see the return match...

    Rye House 2012

Get rid of em all after Thursday's performance at Sheffield. Glad you ended up with Telson Nyson
  18. This is a 'cracking thread' if nothing else Mod Note: As this thread has descended into petty bickering (nothing to do with Davek -his just happened to be the last post)it has been locked. I am sure there is a crech somewhere for those wishing to carry it on but please do not do so on this forum
  19. If the majority of Pl teams (especially yours) rode at Sheffield with the same determination as these lads rode tonight, the place would have been 'heaving'. All credit to them.
