  1. Leave some for us.

Leicester vs Oxford 7 May 2022

Ok I’ll try and get there for 5.30 (work permitting) I’ll walk round to the gate by turn two and introduce myself. I did quote Facebook, but only after you had outed yourself on here. I’m glad you’ve changed your mind and not quit as you previously announced to everyone.

I’d love too, thank you for the invite. I’ll be there Saturday weather permitting. I know where to find you

So what are the facts then ?

Clearly you are and by the opening statement on this post your doing it again. You need to regain control of yourself and try and understand what people are saying, rather than blaming people. I’ve printed off this entire thread as evidence should I need to present it.

He is the one who has lost control, and is now dishing out threats. I was simply putting my point across as a paying spectator.

Bring it on. Are you threatening me by any chance. Maybe I’ll report you to the Bates and the SCB

No you didn’t respond that’s what I said, yet you are now saying it was all Andy Merideth. Pick ya dummy up on the way out

Everyone ? Graham seemed to manage it without any fuss and he was on his own. I had to describe him as that as I don’t know his name but it obviously worked as you know exactly who I refer too. I did see a post on social media the other day with you tagged in it, congratulating each other on your efforts to turn the track around. You didn’t say it wasn’t me it was all Andy Merideth, but now you are. I’m confused. Never mind hopefully next week will be better if I decide to come. Stewart maybe a licensed curator but he’s there to manage the team not do the track on race nights.

Yeah and most of the the material has ended up where the riders don’t want it, ie coming into the turns or filling in the craters so they don’t know where they are.

Oh I didn’t realise it was you, now it makes sense. I didn’t actually say you don’t know what you are doing. I said it needs experience and time dedicating to it. I also pointed out it seems to be Stewart that does the work on race days or having to give you direction. I’ve also noticed that the tall guy in the cap isn’t there anymore. Maybe he’s fed up with it too. Why didn’t you get on the tractor last night and sort it out as you are the track curator ? I’m sorry if I have offended you but as a paying spectator I’m just voicing my opinion and saying what I see. I’ve actually praised the Leicester track in recent weeks if you bother too look.

I agree, but if you put the time back into the track and actually have someone with the confidence and know how to do it. The problems would almost be eradicated. There is no shortage of material on the place. It needs time and experience on it

Well HE can’t work miracles, give him time and he’ll soon whip the place into shape. Almost sounds like your trying to blame him for years of Neglect?

Really ? Is that why you can still see the big dip by the fence going into 1 & 3 and the holes are still there underneath the tonnes of loose clay mix. Doesn’t matter how you dress it up, the dirt was in all the wrong places. It’s going to be hot and dry this coming week as things stand. So can we expect the perfect surface next Saturday ? Errrrr no. Maybe “they” should start by taking some of that heavy dirt off. No Good keep throwing new material on week after week, deal with the problems don’t cover them over.

No idea and absolutely. Getting that track back is going to be a mammoth task and one which is far beyond a quick mid week day on a blade. I was quite excited when I seen the posts on Facebook with everyone congratulating themselves on what a good job they had done. How wrong were they and major egg on faces, Yeah the track record went once Stewart had spent what felt like an eternity getting the dirt away from the entrances to turns 1&3, but that track was crap, no doubt about it.

Sounds like a load of excuses to me. You’ve clearly got the equipment to deal with a bit of rain. Maybe they should try clearing the mountains of dirt away from the curbs so the water can actually get into the drains or better still look at the weather forecast and prepare for the incoming weather. Relaying a track in the middle of the week was never a good idea unless they intended to leave it slick, which they didn’t. Less excuses and more action is required. Poor Stewart seems to spend more time on the track than he does managing the team. Maybe it’s time to get someone in that knows what they are doing.

leicester lions already lost it ?

You should it’s much better than it was originally. Didn’t ermolenko have a hand in the design ?

It actually isn’t, that is just pure fantasy. No way could they have done either. The footprint simply isn’t big enough.

We all have our own opinions, in my experience it’s whoever gets to the race line first wins. Unless someone can make it work around the curb/grass. It’s very hard to pass an opponent once they get on that golden line. Fast yes, exciting I’m afraid not for me

Spoiled? How? I beg to differ, yes it may be fast at the showground but it’s generally gate and go. The car parks are a fair walk from the track itself. Unless you are able to park inside( which 99% of fans can’t as you know) It’s poorly lit on the journey back to the car. Facilities are on par with Leicester, toilets, seating, over priced burger van, but isn’t that the same everywhere.

    Scott Nicholls

Im sure Scott will lose sleep over that. Not! Do you honestly think that riders give a toss about what people on here think? It really is not up to anyone but the rider on how they choose to conduct themselves on or off the track. If Scott decided not to shake Andersen's hand so what, the choice was his not anyone else's, and he should not be judged for it. Most people know there is no love lost between Han's and Scott anyway, so dont act so surprised. Not everyone gets on in this world, its a fact of life.
