I can't see a topic for this one which I find surprising. With it being open season on the so called "Aces" I would expect the Poole fans to be slavering, at the prospect of maximum league points from this match. This could be the match where BV lose their home record, and with The Stars yet to come, BV could start to tumble down the league. The Lions were made to look very good by a dreadful team representing Belle Vue. I could never call them the Aces. That would be terrible insult to the Aces teams of old. With Birmingham folding, BV could well revert to their customary wooden spoon position.

It would only have been called off if Lord Fraud could see there was a chance that the Pirates would be beaten. With this sad Brummies team there was no chance of that
