Both Coventry and Wolves (Despite a below par performance by Wuffy) have taken points off the Lions at BP. So where does that leave the Aces ? Back in the basement of the league
-
Congratulations to the Lions on taking all the points against the Aces, thanks to an inept performance by Zagar, and the Aces reserves.

You really have to feel sorry for the Brummies. They are on a hiding to nothing. If Poole don't notch up at least 60 points there is something wrong somewhere.

Hands up all those who think that Noddy's non-performance last night was an average dropping exercise -
Perhaps Starman thinks KKS, in his latest re-incarnation is French

I'm inclined to agree about Brum, but Cov will be a different case, and the Aces will need to improve their gating to get a result at Beaumont Park

I was proved completely wrong about the Aces reserves. Stefan and Ben stuck to the task, and did their job well. A good all round performance from the Aces, and lets hope the bad days are now history -

I expect the Lions reserves to comfortably out score their Aces counterparts. The match could turn on this Yes, my loyalties are divided. After the suffering that the Aces fans have gone through over the last 6 or 7 years I am looking for an Aces win. If they do, I just hope that they do it fair and square. After supporting Leicester from 1948 through to 1970 I do have a soft spot for them, but I must go for the Aces for their old history, and recent terrible later history. Lets hope for a good match -

I would have thought that the obvious answer would be to move the gate back about 10 feet -

My heart says Aces, but my head says Robins. I think this will be won by the reserves, and I think Stevie Worrall will outscore some of the Aces main team. 49-41 to the Robins -

Who do we think Bjarne is riding for this time, Eastbourne or Poole -

I hope you are not including Agent Bjarne as part of the top five -
Sounds half decent until you realise that Paddy Hougaard scored 13 !

Assuming that this match goes ahead, the Aces must be fancying their chances. If they can't take the points here, the season may not be as bright as the fans hoped -
So much depends (As always) on injuries. Given the length of the asset list, and the shekels of Lord Fraud, I think that Poole have the clout (And the deviousness ) to cover most eventualities. Poole Kings Lynn Coventry Eastbourne Lakeside Belle Vue Swindon Wolverhampton Birmingham Leicester Good luck to all the clubs, and riders in 2014.

I think the last signing for Leicester is Simon Stead ?
-
I suspect that KKS may have been supporting Paddy Hougaard from late in the 2013 season but I may be wrong ?

If you are correct I think there may be fireworks in the BP pits when the egos collide -
Perhaps it's too early, with several teams still to be completed. However I will go for the following; Poole (By hook or by CROOK) Kings Lynn Swindon Coventry Eastbourne Belle Vue Lakeside Wolves Leicester Birmingham. Time will tell

Matt Ford Already Planning To Fiddle Reserve Berths?

I don't think there is any doubting the answer to that question, hence the suspicion that Robert Lambert will be smuggled into the Poole line-up as soon as he comes of age
