Little bit gutted I didn't put more on Lynn at +2 given that Iversen will also be in 3 out of the last 5 races
-
Garrity -1 over Lewis Rose all day long!
-
Nick Morris over 9 @ 11/10 Well he's having 6 rides. He has no team mates so should get 6. Throw in beating a couple of Leciester riders along the way. 9 should be easy for him, right?! I hope so
You'd think so! Has taken a liking to the Leicester track before so expect him to do well.
Taking my chances on Steve Worrall at -4 over Josh Bates aswell, he's unstoppable right now!
-
Currently no betting available? Was going to lump on Nick Morris to score a hatful
-
Had a look at the odds for the Swedish GP on Saturday, Freddie Lindgren is at 16/1?!
Gone £10 each way! -
Was left wondering that myself! Ahwell don't think it would've come off even without the retirement!
Stead +3 however -
Interesting, I've gone in the opposite direction on this one!
Nielsen is decent around BV and not a bad gater either, he's also pretty much guaranteed more than 4 rides whereas Ellis is more than prone to the odd fall or lock up IMO -
Morris +1 10/11 for me!
Swindon on +4 aswell
-
Leicester website now has Rory Schlein guesting for the 'injured' Patrick Hougaard.
Interestingly enough Hougaard scored 12+2 riding for Bydgoszcz today..http://www.espeedway.pl/news,nice_plz_polonia_bydgoszcz_carbon_start_gniezno_5733,70258,12.html

Gino has just written on his Twitter page "Ipswich 2014! Super Excited!" -
Elmside sponsored kevlar suit previously belonging to Rye House rider Luke Bowen, in great condition!
All zips in working order, no tears/holes or rips, small mark on the right inside leg where the ankle has been rested on the engine.
Suitable for someone around 5'11 and slim/average build.
Starting bid £100

Was made to eat my own words last night after watching the Kings signing Adam Kirby ride second half at Rye House.
What a difference the winter must have made to the lad, looked smooth as anything and won all of his rides, alot of hard work must have gone in since the last season ended!
It's always good to see teams including 3.00 riders into the League and Kirby could turn out to be a decent signing, looking forward to my visit to Kent at some stage this season.

Apparently he wasn't happy with his bike at Lakeside on the Friday night so was at Rye last night simply sorting out the gremlins.
Given how local he lives to the track it's not surprising if he popped down every now and then for a practice.
-
Having witnessed Adam Kirby ride over the last few years but admittedly not towards the tail end of last season I'm not too sure how he fits into the category of "if this team doesn't win the league"?
I'm not sure how many times I've even seen him complete 4 laps to be brutally honest!?
Can't help but think this signing is partly down to the 'Nikko Racing' connection, but others must see something I don't!
What I would take from this is that he last two signings must be real gems, Robert Lambert to partner Kirby at reserve perhaps?

Is Nick Morris really the out and out number 1 that's going to score double points at every track home and away as described by Len in the Mercury?
Arguably he's also the spectacular rider that Len isn't looking for.
Oliver Allen however does fit that description, and if Twitter hints are anything to go by I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the team nor would I be disappointed with his inclusion!
He dominated the Premier League a few years back with King's Lynn and I'd say his only downfall is the amount of injuries he seems to pick up.
Oliver Allen, Anders Mellgren, Tyson Nelson, Jason Bunyan, Jason Garrity, Simon Lambert and Kasper Lykke? Certainly has the potential to do well IMO.

The team needs alot of rebuilding to keep anyone interested for 2012, Auty and Aspgren would definitely have been a start.
If we can expect Neath, ???, Boxall, Bowen, Hawkins, Nelson and Morley then things are only going to get worse at Rye.
I haven't attended any meetings in October due to lack of interest, some serious improvements need to be made on and off track for next season to bring the crowd back.
-
Ben Barker pulled out of the 16 lapper at Ipswich tonight due to injury, so we are looking at no Woffinden/Barker (injuries) and possibly no Bridger due to machinery.
Certainly be interesting to see the lineup come 6pm Sunday... and the crowd attendance.
I certainly won't be there, maybe some enthusiasm will be rekindled for 2012...
-
Now pondering whether I've already seen the last of my Speedway in 2011, what a poor lineup.
-
Looked like the Clark of the Course was just having a quick one whilst deciding gates for Run Off
-
I've never understood why the number 8 doesn't get more rides when his team is winning by a large margin (almost 30 points tonight).
What harm will it do to give that rider 4 rides?

Adam Kirby was in the red kevlars, didn't miss much apart from Morley and Haines came out together for practice with Morley taking a tumble just before the start line on bend 4 but I didn't see what happened!
Swindon V Kings Lynn 3rd July
