Berwick vs Sheffield... 18th May
IronScorpion replied to Shadders's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Canny bit of management from Sheffield in heat 7. Proctor suffering the effects of the incident in heat 3 & Sheffield 6 points behind use a TS with a higher averaged rider( could of been King but Howarth used) instead of declaring him injured & IRR comes in to play using any one below him in the averages. -
I have him on ignore but as some have quoted him, I see what he has posted but typical of him. He should think before posting & do some fact finding.

no he didn't. He was vaping which set the alarm off

Scunthorpe v Somerset 17.5.19 League

I noticed Hume earlier but not sure if his average is converted form NL(current average) or uses old average from 2017. I think both are too high. -

yes, noticed Allen did not take another ride after heat 8 but that is the program of rides in the 13 heat format. Hope all is well as possible after effects to Allen & Auty plus repercussions of Garrity could go against us. I agree with Fozzie(gosh, that was hard to admit) but Kinsley needs to be no7 at home(even though it will make a mess of the programme). I have not been a great admirer of Peet but let us see if he is an ex referee or a team manager. (the verdict is still out for some of us on here). -

Any one will make you stronger! Joe Lawlor available but after a long trek, you might have to put him in a hotel for the night. -
It could be similar to the Josh Auty scenario when he took a break then wanted to return, so a 14 day ban was imposed. If he is taking a full break & withholding his services then a 28 day ban for the rider. Other than this, I think a re-declaration is required. Follow the Glasgow thread as this could be similar with Chessell bowing out.

We are over the 38 point limit in June so only a like for like swap. Bailey has an average of 3.18 so up to that or a British rider having ridden in the NL up to 3.26.
-
A similar scenario, tonight , in the Premiership. It was agreed to change our race nights, from last year, to Monday & Thursday this year. Tuesday is for Sweden. Tonight, it was agreed that a Swedish fixture has priority over our Premiership Supporters Cup. So obviously, our PSC is a "mickey mouse" league & not justified to have priority on our race night.

Got to be 16 which is not until Feb 2020 which is good as other teams cannot use him & he gets an average over 2.00.

I am not defending Garrity as missing 3 years on the trot does seem to be dodgy but the issue has been sorted by the SCB(fine) & our club(stripped of captaincy). I.D.S. I do know was an MP! -

Do not think it is that serious. There was an incident to be sorted out, it has been sorted with the change in captaincy required. If it had have been trouble/serious, then Garrity would have been suspended or sacked. Move on. -

Josh Auty declared himself fit(ish) for Friday. Options were limited, though, if needed a guest as 3 Championship fixtures on Friday. Howarth would of been a possibility. -

Good job the question mark was there(further along) as some could believe your post. -
Only if their riders win races of come from behind to improve their place.
-
Where do you think he should be? He was signed as a 2 pointer(bloody good one as well), knowing full well after 1 away meeting he was moving to a 4.5ish average taking him out of a reserve berth.

Tai used this as a testing/set up meeting knowing top 3 qualified?

Wasn't it a crash last year! -
They normally grade every 4 heats & water after 8 even though it rarely says so on the updates site. It normally keeps it in a raceable condition keeping dust non-existent.

Here is the example why getting speedway meetings on is difficult. We could not get on the track to prepare it as the rain came down. At Redcar, it seems they had a similar rainfall Wednesday & Thursday but then could get on the track to prepare it, then rush through the meeting in 90minutes if rain expected. At Glasgow, after checking the rain radar prior to their meeting, rain was expected & looking at the photos of the track walk where water was present( either from rainfall or watering of the track), it was all systems go. Then the rain came to cancel the meeting. -
Kyle Bickley could have been riding for Workington, though, if they had not closed.

Craig Cook: what next?
IronScorpion replied to Hamish McRaker's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I posted (OOPS!) as it has CFS on the pictures who have recently said have nothing to do with Cookie. The Daily Star could/should have used 2019 photos from Glasgow as he is, also, not with the Aces.
