Will Tim Sugar be invited to manage one of the teams? I sure hope he is as he is missing the RFC vs Man Utd fixture and a Grand Prix on TV to attend and as the guy played a major part in Clews' development I hope he isn't forgotten by Paul on his big day.

Any Reading fans going up to support the great man on his testimonial evening? I know Clewsy's former Team Manager Tim "Too Sweet" Sugar and former RSSC chairman Andrew Povey are going along.

Agree with several others on here the whole format, wasn't well thought out. With only the winners going through from each group it meant several teams were out of contention after their first rides. I thought the crowd would be bigger arrived at Blunsdon to find big queues outside, but that was thanks to the gates being closed. So had a kip in the car for half an hour and ventured into just before 5pm. I'm sure Ian Thomas' comments were totally tounge in cheek and not meant to offend, whilst it was good to see Crumpy and Steady jumped off the parade truck to acknowledge the BV fans on the back straight! And also we had the all girl band Barely Legal performing in the bar afterwards, which left a certain foum member (who will remain nameless) drooling.

Young Mr Sullivan spotted in West London lat evening deep in conversation with a director a large Coach Company, could have been negotiating a sponsorship deal for his testimonial??

Nice to meet George and Brendon (and their dads) at Reading last night. They were due to do a couple of demonstration races. Unfortunately the first was stopped when George came down and when James Humby was injured, the meeting had to be curtailed and they didn't get a chance to come out again. Hopefully, we will see them at Reading again soon.

Benfield are running it in the top of the back straight grandstand. Not sure how to get tickets though! I do Found out hospitality tickets are £65 with seats and a meal. Not bad at all. Got the feeling H Man won't be dipping in his pocket for WTC tickets. Who is it sponsoring the event again??? lol @ Wackie. Are you suggesting I am a freeloader!
