Poole have been around (as we know...) for over 60 years now.. And that basically means they've met at one time or another the great majority of other British club sides..But can people help out letting me know if - in official competition - the Pirates have ever paid host to the following clubs:
Isle of Wight
Scunthorpe (I know briefly they competed together in the 1985 NL but Scunny closed early season and their results were expunged. Did the phantom matches include a visit to Wimborne Rd., does anyone know?
Weymouth - surely they must've but they were in BL days in different divisions...
Buxton
Link to the Poole website and opponents met

No, didn't see meridian tonight got home after half 6 so watched south today and they did do good coverage from p+p, maybe meridian are gonna do it tomorrowYes i agree with you about joe, glad he had his zebra stripes on his bike otherwise i wouldn't have recognised him!
Apologies to the Robins fans for taking this off-tangent somewhat but I think that with the amalgamation of the different Meridian regions to just one Meridian Tonight programme for the whole of the South there will be less speedway coverage as they will now have to cover more football teams. Can but hope that they may have news of all the speedway teams during the season, but if that was the best they could do tonight with the one-liner about the 60th Anniversary Meeting at Swindon (back on topic ) then I will not be holding my breath.

I'm glad thats all they said........didn't wanna hear it after eastbourne beat us! The less said the better!TBF when reading were in the elite they did a few bits on them, find meridian on itv is a lot better!
Obviously didn't watch Meridian tonight then. Concentrated on P**pey and mentioned a 60th Anniversary Meeting at Swindon yesterday and that was it. At least South Today were at Poole today for P & P and glad to see they gave coverage to the Buccaneers too
Have to say I couldn't believe how much weight Shaggy has lost

Is the line up as per the original staging or it will be a ragtag of EL riders who show up?And not forgetting 5 PL riders too.

As always DW a great racecard very much appreciated.
-
Yes I know you wont agree Sub, but in your eyes the 'global superstar' is to blame for most things isn't he? Why don't we blame him for the credit crunch too?I thought that was Millard/Pearsons fault

Much appreciated as always DM
