THERE is no evidence that a Polish company - presumably you mean One Sport - will take over anything. Receipts from ticket sales at Prague, Warsaw, Wroclaw and Torun go to the organisers not BSI. Same with Togliatti. Cardiff tickets are no longer on sale.

As a matter of interest Philip, do the individual clubs, i.e. Prague, Wroclaw etc set their own prices for tickets or are they answerable to other bodies ?

So i wasn`t completely to blame in saying the train was direct- it was engineering works that scuppered that ? :)

Aren`t the bars and the restaurants down by the refurbished river side open anymore ?

There was a round glass bar on the left side of the bridge but it was our first visit and we were told that there used to be several bars and restaurants under the arches.

Well done to the helpful Mojo who I believe is Maureen and a few young Polish translators on board the train  who pointed out to us that the train  was not in fact a direct train, but required a change in Krzyz and then a further change to a replacement bus in Santok. Must admit I was in the dark

Glad to help and nice to meet you.  Can't believe that after changing trains and then taking the bus we were only 5 minutes late getting into Gorzow, 120 km for £4.  We had to do the same on the way back but the train was non stop from Krzyz to Poznan and cost a bit more!!!   If anyone is making plans for the future, we were told the track work could take up to 2 years.

Not impressed with the town, no nice bars or restaurants.  Presumably the bars and restaurants under the arches dow by the river have gone as a result of the overhead rail works.  At least the hotel had a bar and the wine was cheap (6zl).  Glad we stayed in Poznan the other two nights.

  5. I got our tickets today ,but most of the best seats where sold for the final, think it's a bit unfair the poles have been allowed to buy them for the last 10 days but we could only buy them from today. that's why alot of the best seats had gone

I totally agree with you. Don't know who is in charge of the ticketing arrangements but it must be the club as the Kings Lynn tickets have been on sale for ages haven't they. Surely for a World event we should all be equal! Even yesterday by the time I had managed to create the account I had to keep rebooking the seats and there were less available every time.

Completed the Create Account part of the jigsaw last night. Now waiting for an authorisation mail so have rung the club. They are looking into the problem. Ridiculous system.

I got a Transaction email and then a Payment email but couldn't read them. However I followed "New Science's" instructions above and the tickets printed so hopefully all sorted. Can't believe it is such hard work, surely the sites they use should be user friendly for World events.

  6. Log into your account. click on the downward triangle by your name.click on your account. It will show you your ticket purchases and below each ticket there is an option to download your ticket from which you can print it. Its not that straightforward or that clear.

Hope this helps. Did mine today. Every Polish ticket website is different , it is sent to test us !

Thank you very much for this information, all printed now. I would never have tried that. Took me ages this morning to sort the registering out. I have been booking tickets on Polish, and most of the other GP countries, for the last 20 years and never had a problem. You are right, this one was sent to try us. Will buy you a drink in Leszno!!

  7. Can anyone help please. I'm trying to open an account to buy tickets. This question appears, what does it mean.

.Please provide number Identifier‏. If you don't own one, please insert number, which you use in contacts with club.

Would like to help but it took me 2 hours this morning and I still don't know how it eventually worked. Having said that I have paid but don't know how to print the tickets or what the confirmation says. I presume they have taken the money. I kept filling in the "create account" form. There is a little box that says "No Identifier number" so I ticked that. Did it so many times. I e-mailed the club and said I didn't have a number. They said

"PLEASE TICK THE FOREIGNER OPTION AND ENTER YOUR PASSPORT NUMBER WHEN REGISTERING".

I cannot remember seeing a Foreigner option so wonder if this is on their club site to obtain a number.

    Sorry I can't help.

  8. Tickets on sale 8th May see page 1 of this thread

Yes I posted that but just thought T.N.T might know of another source.

As their are 2 league matches that day it could be either 4.30pm or 7pm. If i had to guess i would say afternoon

Thanks for info. Just found a website at www.scoreboard.com with all the Polish fixtures listed and it says 3.30pm but it could change before then.

  9. Good news that leszno are hosting the race- off and final on 7th/8th July 2017. can produce some great racing when prepared right.

If anyone is thinking of going I would suggest getting the hotel booked quickly.

maybe GB will get one of the two opening rounds.- Belle Vue ?

Do you know when the tickets are likely to go on sale please? We have booked our hotels and flights and don't want to miss out on the tickets. Does anyone do ticket alerts?

  10. Not sure we need em Gemini.

The forum is jogging along quite happily, I've even taken couple of members off ignore...mighty tempted to put one of them back tho ;)

Hi there this is Barrow Boy using Mojo's account because as you know I am no longer allowed to use my own. Someome suggested that I create a new account under the name Barrow Boy 2 but because Mojo also has the same EMail address this cannot be done. I still have not received any advice or instructions from anyone in charge of this forum. What must I do?

  11. My husband Barrow Boy cannot now use this forum because he needs to log in but he cannot remember his password. He has 3 times tried and on each occasion he has clicked on the I have forgotten my password box and each time he has been told that an Email will be sent giving him instructions on how to proceed but he is till waiting. He would be grateful if someone in authority could look into this for him.

    Thank you, Mojo.

Thanks. We will just be back from Warsaw just in time to buy them. Hope it is the normal ticket website - I seem to be collecting them in my Favourites box.
