    Peter Kelly

Peter Kelly rode for Belle Vue, Stoke, Newcastle and Berwick. Peter and his daughter have been in touch with me and I now have Peters Memoirs and a number of excellent photos. Click here to see them http://www.newcastlespeedwayhistory.co.uk/...part%20four.htm

    Peter Kelly

No Problem Tsunami... Remember Peter with his socks turned over the top of his boots and a billowing white silk scarf. The guy was always well turned out and had a great cornering style. Have you looked at the photos yet? My favourites are the 6 shots of him as a novice falling off and the one of him climbing the starting gate with Mike Parkers tie in his hand. God knows what was going on there New Zealand is special to us in Newcastle and I am sure Peter had plenty ex diamonds over in Kiwiland to talk to

    Newcastle Diamonds 1964

Yes Dave still lives locally but down Teeside way. He had a tragedy in his family when his son was badly injured trials riding and is now in a wheelchair. The History Site relies on the memories and pictures etc that fans and riders have collected. If you want to contribute just send me an email jskinner06@btinternet.com
