Stiltonpanther replied to Paulco's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
[quote name="Paulco" post="2989119" timestamp="149 It's , of course , very disappointing that any scheduled rider is missing , but it happens and there's enough good riders in the Peterborough side tonight to make it a test for us and make it an entertaining encounter . With Jack Holder probably taking 6 rides, you should get plenty of entertainment. He has been brilliant to watch this year. -

Cracking meeting and Jack Holder worth the admission fee on his own. Well done to Tom Bacon as well, improves every week. -

Tom broke the tapes in two of his rides and had to to off 15m so not a fair reflection last night. -
Poole V Belle Vue Bt Sports 26/6/17

Well done Belle Vue on a solid performance. The track was awful, so bumpy. Good performance from Jack Holder and pleased he came away with no injuries on that track. -
Peterborough V Glasgow 25/6/17 Championship
Stiltonpanther replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Pleased with the teams performance today with the exception of Richard Hall. I think that was the first time this season that as have had a 5-1 in heat 1.Tom Bacon has improved a lot and gets to the 2nd bend in a good position but has to learn to ride a wider line. Disappointed with Richard Lawson but on checking last year, he only got 4 points from 5 rides. He is still a good rider just not at the Showground. We now have to win next week against Ipswich to prove to the fans that we are not that bad a team. -
Kings Lynn Stars V Belle Vue Aces 21/06/17
Stiltonpanther replied to semion's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Just read these pages and not one mention about Bjerre's contribution last night. He is a lot better than some of the Lynn riders on show and you didn't want him. I am sure Belle Vue fans must be pleased with his performances this year. -
Peterborough Panthers Vs Workington Comets 29/05/17
Stiltonpanther replied to Panthers89's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The riders came round the track which was in good condition and the heavens opened, the track was under water in 10 minutes. No way could the riders have ridden. Harris was there just after 6pm. -

James Shanes would be a better bet than Tom Bacon. -

Sadly I cannot see us getting anything from this meeting so will go for a 54-38 defeat. -
King's Lynn V Belle Vue - 19 April 2017
Stiltonpanther replied to Mimmo's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well that was my first venture to the higher league this year and if that is the sort of entertainment, then it will be a long time before I go again. Apart from being cold the racing was dire with only one real pass. Well done to Belle Vue who look a good team. Holder just going through the motions and will be back at Poole next year. -

Said the same myself as it always gives you the option for a big hitter in heat 8. Great performance from Jack Holder tonight. -

Grondal has put on that he has signed with a British club so would imagine he is back with us at number 6. -
Sad news indeed and should be a reminder to people on here who seem to get pleasure in other teams misfortunes that most clubs are in a position where they do not make money. Think before you write as one day it might be your club.Hopefully something can be sorted.

Simon Lambert should be back as he was having a good season and racking the points up at the Showground before he got injured. -

Brady Kurtz would be my choice as number 1.He hasn't had a good season at Poole so think he will come back to the PL. He rides our track well. Agree that Lasse and Hansen plus Morris and Simon in the team and make up with what we have left. -

Excellent news that Ged is still at the helm and made public so early. Now let all us Panthers fans give him the backing he deserves.
