You are not kidding. We decided to go to Felixstowe early and the whole place was gridlocked due to a fuel spillage on the A14. We tried to get out at 1500 and finally managed it by 2130 which obviously meant we missed the speedway. Gutted is the polite word that I can use.

Still think we will be competitive with this team. Bjarne only got 6 last time at Ipswich, Riss got 8 for KL. Palin scored 0 so Flint cannot do any worse and we have Hans, Scott, Bomber and MPT to take Ulrich's rides.

I think Anders Thomsen would be a good choice if his average fits. Popular with the fans and the Peterborough set up.

Not a bad guess. Another good meeting in front of a large crowd. Thought heat 15 was excellent team riding from Hans to block Morris and allow Bomber to go round the outside. It was important to stop Wolves getting a point tonight if we are to go on and top the league. Well done Panthers.

Cracking meeting tonight and you csannot beat a last heat decider. We cannot complain about using rr as Ulrich's rides realised 9+1. Hans had an off night but MPT, Bomber,Bjarne and Scott all scored well. Lawson excellent until the last race.

Just got ours 1045 hours. Lokking forward to it. King's Lynn have strengthened so expect it to be close.Last heat decider.

Great result....BV got 8 points at our place and we have got 5 points at there's so evenedit up a bit. Well done Palin. One thing for sure is whoever comes first will not pick us in the semis.

Would expect him to get extra rides so well into double figures.

Good performance from the Panthers with all 7 riders getting a heat win. Long wait for the first heat (2000 hours) but worth it. Disappointed with some of the Sheffield riders. My man of the meeting was definitely Jordan Palin who bust a gut all night. He has come on leaps and bounds since the beginning of the season. Well done Panthers, now beat K Lynn on Thursday.

Dan Bewley on fire, Brady Kurtz rides well there and Charles Wright was great for us so expect him to do well despite a slow start. Others will pitch in as seen Jye Etheridge ride well there. Close meeting I reckon with Panthers winning by 47-43. Can't wait for my methanol fix.

You are so wrong. I may be in the minority but having watched speedway for over 60 years, the result of my team winning is only a bonus as long as I am entertained, then I go home happy.

To be honest I don't care who we sign.....will just be pleased to see some speedway again.

My theory is ( no substance) that NKI always wanted to ride for us but not with Carl as manager. Rob Lyons becomes manager and deal done in days.

Well done Ipswich, fully deserved.

Well done Douglas, a great guest.

At least no one on here can say Panthers laid down and let the Robins have 4 points.

Canot see us getting anything from this meeting. I think Fricke and Bjerre will go unbeaten which means 29 points leaving 20 for the other 5 riders to secure the 4 points they want. My prediction is Panthers 39 Aces 51.

Well another £50 saved by not going. This is so sad because I looked forward to this and Lynn meeting at the beginning of the season especially as we had no home fixtures in August. I cannot justify going with the team we are putting out. Hope the Panthers still do well though.

As I am not a member of the secret 7 I am not aware of the other sides. I will however say that I am rather disappointed that Neil has chosen not to expand . When we lose Ged,Neil, T Balfe Construction and Kevin Austin at a late stage of the game it is difficult not to have same concerns. We have also heard negative comment from Stilton Panther the personification of "Blue Skies Philosophy"
The moment Buster took over the club the skies did not just turn grey but went black.4 months on I can only see a storm brewing.

A comfortable win for the Panthers tonight. Like others, sad to see Crump struggle round the showground and Ipswich in general. Full credit to Jack Thomas who I did not expect to trouble the scorers. He should certainoy get another invite if Palin is unfit. Solid scoring again for our team. Well done Panthers.
