World Cup Race Off - 18th July 2013

Neil hasn't destroyed Eddies confidence, he's not a kid any more, he's big enough and ugly enough to handle it. So tell me what Mark Screeny Havvy Rosco uncle tom cobbly or Rob Lyon who's already been tried can do better than Neil with what Neil has at his disposal. At least Neil is trying something different, and i will be very interseted to see how Bridger reacts to this call up.. its in his hands.

Something i also brought up many times on the main thread and got shot down. Spot on.

I see absolutely no reason why Neil should quit, but you are right. But you try explaining that to some on here, they suddenly cop a deafn. Must be a Poole thing...

And quite right, so there should be Phil. enough to cover expences and a decent bit on top. Marky is quite right, you work hard to get to the top of your profession, and it doesn't come easy in any sport, you should be rewarded accordinly..

For once Marky i agree with you. You get to the top of your choosen sport i would expect to be paid some sort of fee and not just expences. Yes i also agree, it should be a privelige to represent your country in any sport, but you should also be paid a fee accordingly. Some might say Scott let us down, but its only right you get paid a fee.

The problem is you can't turn average riders into world class riders. and putting an arm round them will not be enough if they continue to get tailed off, and you certainly can't give a kid a bollocking, otherwise if he wraps himself round an airfence it would be on your consience for the rest of your life. . And as i said, we are streets behind the Poles Danes and Aussies. So whats the answer?

And you missed the bit convieniently, where i said, yes i know his form is not good and Neil was taking a chance and i thought Ben should get the chance, but Neil picks the team, not me you or anybody on here..

Yes i do agree with you. But if you take that approach then you will have the moaner police on here saying oh so and so was so far tailed off you need a pair of binoculars to see him, so, what are they supposed to do, ruin a riders confidence or take the flack from so called team managers on here?? Because the majority of our kids are way behind the Poles Danes and Aussies.

But won the league in 03 04 08 2011, Runners up in 99 2010 2012, not a bad record that for a failer.. and thats just the league.. Clearly you hadn't.. Why don't you ask him.

You'l have to ask Wizzer. Going back to your earlier point, what are they supposed to do? We don't have the same set up as the Aussie Danes or Poles, and as far as riders is concerned they are streets appart, so whats the answer. Moderate riders cannot be turned into world class riders.

Point, but Neil had to try some thing to drag back the 7 point deficit, so he's used the joker early with Tai to drag it back, and as it happen it worked.

Seems your also missing the point, please read the above post. Again, please read my above post.

I agree with you. Eddie has been in poor form recently, and im sure that Neil knew that, but he took the chance on Eddie performing tonight, but Neil could have gone with Ben or Danny, hindsight is a wonderful thing. The problem is, we are never, going to have the scope or strength in depth of the Poles Danes or the Aussies come to that.

Ive already mentioned that Ben should have ridden and Danny is just starting to find a bit of form, but even with that, would it have been enough to turn over the Danes??

Appologies for the remark. but theres no need to slag our manager off. Neil is very limited on his choice of riders, we are not Denmark or Poland

Neil picks the side on who he thinks will do the best job on the night. Sadly, it didn't happen. Yes i said ages ago that Barker should have been included in the team, but neil picks it. Also posibly Danny king should have been included, he's just starting to find a bit of form. But what some people on here fail, to understand we don't have the strength in depth of some nations, and some people fail to remember 2004, when we came within a point of winning the dam thing. Im sure that Hans Anderson would agree!!!!!

Well said that person, but you can't tell some of these on here.. Another on here who doesn't understand we don't have the strength in depth of some nations.. As for what Neil does at poole, an awful lot more than you could shake a stick at..

    Brits Not Supporting Team Gb

No your not the only one.The country has gone to hell in a dustcart, and believe me, it will get far worse... but everybody will still back Team GB, same as every English person backed Team GB in last years Olympics.
  21. Why's it brilliant Jacques, you have the majority of top riders missing!!!
  22. Steve Boxall could be avaliable. Even better, NL..
