Because you are bringing HIS kids into the equasion, just by doing that you are borderline, which has nothing to do with them. Perhaps you ought to say the same thing to Neils face. -

Darcys Australian, Remember. You cannot tie somebody to his bedposts 24/7. What Darcy gets up to in his own homeland is NOT, Neils responsabillity. Darcy is old enough and ugly enough to be responsable for his own actions in his own country.. -

Take a walk mr Leslie... In my opinion, this has nothing to do with Neils position as Poole manager or his position as Team GB manager. -

I don't think so. this has nothing to do with Neils association with his Team GB managierial position. Nor while we are at it, his position as Poole manager before anybody starts digging holes... -

Well what did you really expect in the dead of Winter on a freezing cold night and the majority of the riders only half race fit? You go back to Somerset during the season, and i will gurrantee you, you will see a totally different story, Somerset is one of the best race tracks in the country, where you will see PROPER speedway, And i mean,i Gurrantee you, you will see a totally different story.. -

Starman2006 replied to KN1's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Ive always liked Davey, he was very good at teaching riders who joined us {poole} how to ride our track, he would spend quite a bit of time doing this, which was always good to see, what i would term, a PROPER captain... But yes, this sort of thing does speedway no favours whatsoever, in a day and age when its wants to attract fans, not send them running from Stadiums... -

I look forward to watching him ride with interest. As i said, he has the abillity to be as good as Scott Nicholls in his prime. It makes me so so angry when riders with abillity come across as though they have no ambition, i hope he proves me wrong, because as i said, you only have one life, and if you have abillity in your choosen sport you maximise it, unless circumtances depict otherwise.. -
16 Speedway superstars, where? Superstars is an over used expression. We have a Grand Prix series, why the hell would riders want to take on more. The schedual is already over the top... What a load of rubbish. Really, that i would like to see. Believe me, it won't happen...

He's already threatened to retire once. Its in his own hands, nobody elses. Again, no excuss, every other rider made the effort to prepare a bike, bar him. Very un-professional. He maybe only 23, but the way he carries on he will still be in the same boat at 30. He needs to wake up and smell the coffee, instead of treating speedway as some sort of play thing. He gives the impression of having no ambition..
