  1. Yet he was the only rider without a bike avaliable. Every other rider made the effort. You expect people to believe that?? I certainly don't, and think its pretty poor. Its not very professional if you ask me. He's a fool to himself, Lewis could be a very good rider, in the Scott Nicholls class, for an English rider, but he continues to treat speedway as a play thing. I hope when he retires he has a good look in the mirror and see's what a waste of talent he's been... You only get one crack at life, and if you have talent in your choosen sport you maximise it. Unless circumtances depict otherwise...

No Gps On Sky Television Next Year?

Maybe because you can get a deal to watch 1-2 on your laptop i believe. So the answer to that question is, put the GP's on one or two... Simples.

No Gps On Sky Television Next Year?

Although all this said, im very very suprised that Sky will not do the British GP as a one off in the series, given its actually in this country... Yes i can understand if they don't want to renew their contract due to cut backs, But they will feel the wrath from speedway fans, and i do feel they would be cutting their nose off to spite their face by not at least showing the British GP.
  4. So mr Sky from Edinbourgh, it seems the majority on here are going to cancel Their Sky subscriptions because we have no GP's this year. I don't have a dislike of Sky, but you certainly have a general consensus on here now!!

    Electric Speedway

And smell that has never dissapeared or been any different. Can see it now, Boffin, ang on a minute, i'l just un-plug the bike, and start it up... Whuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Promoter, Jeezs, thats quiet, Boffin, its Electric. Only one small drawback, when you finish a race you have to plug it in to a socket to charge it up for the next race, just hope nobody breaks the tapes and goes off 15 metres or comes off!!

    Wolverhampton 2013

He certainly won't be scoring 10. But as for my other comment, wait and see... Sam has the abillity to be quite useful, but he's going to need hours and hours of track time and practice to alter that style. Riding in the PL is going to help him, he is a heatleader as ive said, so he eventually will have plenty of time to practice altering his style as he is still a far better rider than the majority in the PL.

    Wolverhampton 2013

Sadly Sam tries to ride his bends motorcross style and not the conventional way. He did this at Somerset but got away with it, only because he was simply far better than the majority in the PL. of which he is still a very good heatleader. At poole he didn't get away with it. He tried to alter this but trying to change his style to the conventional way and keep the gas on at the same time he found this very hard to do!! Unfortunately Ricky Ashworth was just the same when he joined us. Sam is a very tall lanky lad and will always have a problem with A, his style, and B, smaller tracks. He will be a lot more comfortable on the bigger tracks, he seems to ride Coventry well. Sams a nice lad, but come your P&P day he needs as much track time as he can posibly get, and plenty of help from your track specialists in your team... Hope that helps.

    The Start Of The Decline

Sadly thats is more to the point. In todays climate people now pick and choose their meetings. Sadly gone have the days where we at poole had 6 deep on the bends in the early 70's, although we still get good crowds for this day and age, and the racing can still be very good, but the crux of it is all round cost. I still say promoters need to make more of an effort to attract kids through the gates, and a little more of a concession for the OAP's, maybe the same addmision price but chuck them a programme. What i will say is our riders are very accomodating when it comes to the kids, and sign Autograpghs have photo's taken at will, and talk to the kids, But with rising costs in fuel addmission programmes Speedway Star and food, etc its now sadly out of reach for many fans to attend every week. in a day and age where speedway needs all the fans it can get.. Oh, and i nearly forgot. Then there's them rules!!
