  1. Seriously, you would have thought with it being the 10th aniversary the organisers would have put on something pretty special, but to me they seemed to have gone on the cheap, cost cutting mission!! Personally, i wouldn't be at all suprised if ticket sales are down on last year!

    Cardiff Tickets

Why are so many people selling their tickets? Do some people know something we don't, or is it just a case of people can't afford to go??
  3. Ah Shazzybabe er Bird, my little pumpkin
  4. Well done Scott Nicholls, he shouldn't be to down hearted thats a far better performance than last year. He been given the chance to show what he can do at Cardiff, and he's in far better form and frame of mind. Eddie also shouldn't be to down hearted, he rode well, he's young and will get another chance.

Probably because he's English. That'l start world war three
  6. WHAT, NO ANTON, come on now your being silly!!
  7. Would have to think the Magnus would figure in front of Nermark. That said, i'd be very suprised if the Aussies don't win the World Cup this year!!
  8. I can sure Guess what Scott will be doing if he doesn't hit the traps in Ht one !!!
  9. Personally i thought Gollob was very lucky to stay in. The Polish influence comes through again!!
  10. Hope you get a refund Sandie if the flight is cancelled!!
  11. Maybe bring in the Quo, although i know a certain person who would love to see the Killers their, but we need something Rocky. I must say, the Chap who sings the Welsh National anthem, i don't know who he is but he sings it faultlessly every year, his back up songs are also very good. Very impressed.

    Mark Loram

Unfortunately Mark had his best years at poole!!

    Mark Loram

Mark was the man who got me back to Speedway in 1999, aftet a 4 year break, reason, i got Bord. i had the pleasure of meeting him at our hall of fame meal last week. Mark came across as a real nice bloke, nothing false about him whatsoever. By the way, the meal was superb. Mark Deserves a fairwell meeting, although imo fairwell meetings goodbye meetings testimonials etc are thrown around far to easily nowadays, i feel Mark deserves his, he's been a great ambassitor for our sport and an English World Champion. Mark always had that never say die attitude to his racing, and in those days i would stand with my mates near the starting gate. I don't think there was a poole fan in the stadium who didn't want Mark to miss the gate. When he did, i would nudge one of my mates and say, we got a race here!! But i certainly wouldn't want to see Mark lost to Speedway completely, imo he could be a great influence on the kids. I really look forward to his fairwell meeting in 2011.

    GP Betting Odds

If some Bookie wants to go 40's Holder, ill have some of that, win lose or draw, thats a bit of value.
  15. Do we have any updates for this meeting?

    Brits In Gp 2010

Surely its going to get to a point where our boys are just not going to be able to afford to run in the GP Series, because to my mind only the top half Dozen or so can make it pay! Because surely those below that must be running at a loss.
  17. Shadders, read my post mate! Also as Startline Kid says, ALL the riders were very keen to ride on Friday, and when i arrived at 4.30 had there been no more rain the meeting would have gone ahead, as the track was very raceable. Eventhough the weather was appaulling i take my hat of to the many, yes i say many fans that travelled to the Oak tree, coming from as far away as Peterbourgh, And all came not just for the racing but also to pay their respects to Emil Kramer. The meeting was only called off after another downpour after Emils memorial.
  18. I must admit, i made a phone call at 4.15 and was told it was still on, To be quite honest when i arrived at the track had there been no more rain the track looked raceable. The Emil Kramer Memorial went well and was quite touching. I feel sorry for the promotion who put in a lot of time to asemble a superb field, and also for the fans that travelled from all over the place to get there in appaulling weather. although im a stoute poole fan, i really hope Somerset have a good season, and it imo would be fitting if the club went on to win their League, and do it not just for themselves or the Club, but for one man, Emil Kramer.
  19. Still raining quite persistantly in North Devon, the rain has also just reached Cheltenham, lets hope its go here early and buggers off early.
  20. Raining Pissitantly in North Devon ATM.
  21. Well im in North Devon, and its Raining very steadily. Great eh, we've had a real crap winter and now we get the Rain just when we don't want it!! Update, almost stopped raining in North Devon.
  22. Najjer you try living in Poole during the summer, its a bloody madhouse. I will be up for this tonight, but i really hope the forcast is wrong, because the chances of Andy Mark Debbie and Bill assemballing a field like this again will be very slim!
  23. Yeh, he's testing the water and British air, in readiness for his signing for Poole next season!! Simular shaped tracks!

Who Can Be World Champion 2010 ?

Thats a big jump in price TNT, But, some bookmakers are going 1/3 the odds a place 123, or even 1-2, and some will be going 1/4 the odds a place 1-2 or 123, the later is far better, if you can get the price!! Although Tai Woffinden to be World Champion or even top 3?????? Nah, certainly not this year!!
