Do you know, we have the self same problem in Poole. Antonio's sponsors and manager in this country at the Inn on the chase used to screen it all. But sky in their wisdom decided to price the small pub out of the market, by asking £600, yes, £600 per month for sky!. We used to get quite a gathering up ther for the GP's and World Cups, and the food was fantastic. But Skys money grabbing policy put an end to all that , which is a great shame. We now have knowhere in the Poole area that screen the GP's or the World Cup!!.

Would have to agree with this, he's a nice lad, and, improving all the time!. Just my opinion of course!.

I personally feel that we have a good chance. If we can get the result on Monday that takes us straight to the final. But, if i did have reservations it would probably be our strength in depth when we get to the final!!. But, im sure that Neil would be picking the team on a Horses for courses basis. I feel Poland again have an outstanding chance, but just feel,that this year its slightly more open than on previous years!!.

Be Honest with you, Bridger would have been the last person i would have given the Captaincy to!!.

Im sure Bjarne didn't do it purposely, just one of those things. Ive seen a lot more blatent moves by other riders in the past!!.

Good post David, top man for coming on here, as i said well done for monday night, you rode and have rode very well this season. I won't go over board with the congrates though coming from poole!!.

Oh right, sorry Shazzybabe-er bird!. , yeh as you've found out Gem was one. thought they all looked rather fetching in their super 7 wotnots. But i wish Gem wouldn't wear her high heel boots, she bloody towers over me. Stick to flat shoes Gem, much more sociable!

Congratulations must go to Chris Harris and David Howe who have both rode so well all season, especially David who in a lot of quarters has been pulled to pieces on this forum by the where are they now knockers???. But i feel just a little sorry for our Eddie who rode soo bloody well to get to the final. IMO Scott Nicholls did him no favours whatsoever by continually running Eddie to the fence. Scott had no chance of winning the race so why stop Eddie mounting a challenge on David of which he still could have done. By being continually run to the fence by Scott, Eddie lost a lot of Lengths!!. Some might say Scotts bike was quicker and he was going for third place, but Eddie was playing for a British GP place, bit of a difference me thinks!!. Keep your chin up and continue riding as you have been, your turn will come!!. Edited for spelling mistake.

Scott has the abillity, but as others have said, there is something missing from his game. Now whether its bottle or lack of speed or some other mechanical function only Scott knows. From a rider perspective Scott has good balance on a bike, but there's something stopping him from jumping that ditch, from being a good EL heatleader to being a top GP rider??.

If anybody deserves to be world champion its Leigh Adams. If only for his loyalty to Britiish Speedway and his consistantcy!.

Nice to know there is somebody in Eddies camp who will make sure Eddie keeps his feet on the floor!. But he still made the right move to Poole. Under Neil and Jason, he will come on in lumps. He's starting to show this already.eh Shazzybabe-er bird xxx

Hmm, i think Lewis Bridger needs to be taken in hand, He needs a strong guiding influence, ive watched his body Language at poole, and i don't like it. Yes the lad has the abillity to go to the top, you only get one chance old son, don't ruin it!. Many congratulations to Eddie, well done mate. Ive always said he made the right decision to move to Poole during the winter, and now its paying dividends. Good lad, keep your head down, be professional continue in the same viene and Neil will have to look at you!!.

Then if you say someone can do a better job name them?. SCB why don't you get your clipboard out and stop watch and see if you can do a better job. Neil is only human, and know doubt others would also make miatakes, you have to make split second decisions and in the heat of the moment that is not easy, its ok us standing on the terraces screaming put so an so in but i defiy you to tell me that nobody else wouldn't make any mistakes!!. its not an easy job for any team manager, never mind being manager of the National side!!.

I haven't got my head up his wotnot as you put it, im mearly making a point, Neil can only do with what riders he has at his disposal, just the same as you can't turn selling plate racehorses in to Derby winners!. We have a base of riders who are still capable of holding there own on the world stage, and eventually there will be a crossover, where the old guard will start to drop out, and the kids hopefully, will start to show enough to take their places, as Bomber Harris showed in last years world cup. As for Mark Loram taking over the team manager mantle, that is still all up in the air, as nobody knows if Mark will continue to ride or retire, and im sure that Mark doesn't know himself yet!. But maybe Neil could do with a righthand man, if i had to recomend somebody other than Mark, then Havvy would have to be high on the list!!. And yes, i can spell Because, that was a technical error!.

Do yourself a favour, go and play with the traffic on the M4, or take a long jump of a short pier!. Neil does a very good job with the riders that he has at his disposal. And just in case you haven't noticed because you can't see the light of day, the future of British speedway is getting brighter and better with some of the young lads coming through!.

Yep now the forum is back up and running all us Poole fans can now gloat about Bjarne and Jason pairs victory!. Well according to quite a few people on here we wouldn't win it, but there you go, you can't be right all of the time!! As they say, the cream always rise's to the top!! Well done boys!!.

I don't know but correct me if im wrong, but surely Chris Louis will have the next rider in line in the averages to partner him?.

Correct me if im wrong, but didn't Mark Loram have a very nasty crash there a few years ago?.

I agree with Shazzybabe-er Bird here. My choice would have been Mark Loram. imo he rode very well last season, and deserved a swansong at least!!.
