Im with you my friend. But pricewise i would want half the field say 7's or 8's to get me interested. But yes, he has an obvious chance on his own patch. He's riding well enough.

Im not even going to start to work out what overround you would be betting to. My advice mate, don't give up the day job

Dear Mod, I do not find the remark i made at the head of my post as distastful. during my short spell on this forum i have read a lot worse. I find the remark made by a fellow poster as below the belt, as Matt and the track staff did there upmost to get the meeting ran to its conclusion i do not feel that Get a life constitutes as a distasteful remark. Could you please remove the said remark at the bottom of my post, and if nessasary this post. Thank you Starman 2006.

That meeting could have been run to its conclusion. If they had hung on for another half an hour, then something could have been done with the track. Then the ref could have sent two riders out on bikes, and under there own steem did several laps to push the dirt wide, giving a racing line, then the meeting could have been run to its conclusion. I feel the meeting, like several in the past have been called off far to soon. And feel very sorry for the fans who travelled the lengh and breath of the country to follow their riders, which would have cost them a hell of a lot of money. I also feel sorry for the meeting sponsors, SHARP RETAIL SYSTEMS, who put a lot of time and probably a lot of money into sponsoring the meeting. On the other ELRC thread you said there would only be 5 passing manoveours in 20 heats. Make your mind up mate!. That 5 more than you would get around your drum

I have to agree with Rabbit here. Crump is a worthy favorite given his recent form, but take him away and its a very open meeting. There must be a decent bit of e/w value there, given Crump is so short!.

I don't know quite where you get your imformation from VV, but the racing so far this season has been not to bad at times. And also, we would get three times the attendance at Poole than you would at your Drum, Sky or no sky. As for holding the ELRC at a premier league venue, if i had to choose one, it would definatly be Somerset, but the facillitys would need to be increased

Thats spot on by Pop up Pirate, it was definatly a sight to see, and very funny watching them drink Vodka at breakfast... Hic hic, And amasingly, they were all still walking, but they were all well behaved and a real fun bunch.

Sorry Tabs, yeh im taking a lot of things into consideration, so it might be more benificial for me to stay over. Besides, i can just fall out of bed into the showground!!!. But we'll see, just hope the weather is going to play ball for once.

Im undecided what to do yet, asuming the weather is ok. Not sure weather to go up by coach or travel up by car on the Saturday. Anybody know of a decent hotel in the imediate area of the showground?. Mike

Im still can't believe that Poole have not been asked to host it again, after how it went two years ago. For me, its the perfect track, perfect venue, great racing, but wrong outcome, but im sure that would have been put right this year Mike.

Im sorry Rabbit, but on this occasion i disagree with you, and agree with Lioness, i myself wouldn't stay in a tatty room paying extortionate inflated price's, just becouse its a GP weekend. Ok, yes they've got to make hay while the sun shines, but this is what they bank on, fans will pay it reguardless of what the conditions are, i don't know if they have paid a deposit, ok, they would lose that, but end of the day we all have moral standards, and if they feel the conditions of the room is not up to scratch, then people should make a stand, otherwise it will continue to happen. As for dumping a room at the last minute, i see your point, but then we are going back to what i said earlier!!. Mike.
