Not a great way to finish the season but the meeting was done and just hope for a more enjoyable 2009.
-
Shame it wont be a great lineup as we dont even know who the last few riders are but if there is some good racing i will be happy.
-
Not a bad meeting Pepe deserved winner with Christian riding well and another good night by kenni.
John Branney was very impressive and would take him for the Diamonds if Workington dont. Good to see Craig Branney back riding and he did quite well.
-
Not a great lineup but hopefully some good racing.
-
Well done Workington on winning the fours.
-
Well done Denmark, though it was a decent meeting as well.
-
1 Denmark
2 Australia
3 Sweden
4 Poland

GB were better but that wasnt difficult, still not good enough but well done Tai excellent peformance for his age and being a premier rider.
-
Britain can still qualify if all the riders improve and show more team spirit. Hopefully no more embarassing peformances from the team.
-
Britain were just not good enough which considering we were the home nation. Track wasnt suitable for the team which is stupid, the Danes will surely like their track, but are probably good enough to challenge on most tracks.
-
First round was okay with it being so close for top spot. Glad Russia were competitive made for a more interesting meeting. Hopefully all four teams can create some good racing tonight.
-
Denmark will probably win like to see Britain do well but not sure the team is strong enough. Hopefully home advantage will help.

Was not impressed with the ref he shouldnt being doing lower level meetings never mind Grand Prix with that sort of perormance.
-
Really enjoyed my first Grand Prix and hope to go back next year. Crump was a deserved winner and Hancock a deserved second. Atmosphere was good as well.
-
Congratulations to Workington on winning the pairs.
-
in his days he was a good second string.Who knows if he can compete at that level now.He might struggle to get the 5-6 that he used to get, suppose we might find out at some point if he wants a team because somebody might sign him because of the lack of riders available.
-
You could say he looked good on his own but put someone half decent up against him and i bet he dont look the same.Wonder where hes going. Wouldnt be a suprise if he comes to us its the option that we allways seem to use him.Does it ever work ? No
Well done to scott james last night rode great all night also as said allready in the topic . I impressed with paul starke.See steven jones still gets classed as a youngest he was looking good at time aswell.
How can you say signing Dickie has never worked good second string for many years for the Diamonds. Unfortunately he may be to old to be effective and a backward step and as you say riding on your own doesnt mean much. Problem for the promotion is their isnt much choice except 3.00 pointers who would not be as good or somebody is kicked out from somewhere else. Unless they look to the future.
-
Decent meeting to watch with Scott James a deserved winner with a few others having good meetings.
-
Hopefully this will be a good meeting with some decent racing.
-
Well done Nicki.

Glad to hear there was a big crowd for Gary shame i wasnt able to go to the meeting.
-
Wasnt impressed with GB at all excuses should be able to ride the track or not be in the team. Not sure about the Walasek situation but it was a farce especially if he was fit enougth to ride the next day.
-
Hope Britain can pull it off but im not sure they will be able to.
Reckon the order will be
Poland
Denmark
Australia
Britain
-
Australia and Poland for me dont even know what Sweden team will be with Johnson and lindback possibly missing and Max not on top form last night will be tough for them but can still do it. Russia will battle but just arent strong enougth.
