  1. 8.00 was his given figure for Leicester back in 2018.

To replace Troy,a riders average has to be equal or lower than his average if you want to keep the other four. So for example, you couldn't use Nicki in a straight swap, but you could use Jack's big brother Chris 7.16,or Tai 7.03.(If only!)

Also there are Swedish fixtures on Thursdays that could impact a signing of a rider free of Polish meetings.

I’d be tempted to get Shanes in for Bates and I’d love to see Nicki in for Bachelor and then see what points we have left.

Agree on James Shanes, odd that we haven't used him yet,Dan from Leicester looked promising last week against Kings Lynn aswell.

As for Nicki for Troy (if it was possible),I think you could only do that by losing another of the top 4 (Kyle or Josh) and rebuilding to 35.50 as Nicki would come in on 8.50 +.

I've not seen him ride this year, but the stats look like if he gates he is fast, because it don't look like the gets past much when in front. But if he don't he either can't be bothered/lowering his average (as he is reported to have said at the start of the season) or he has a genuine confidence issue.

Yes,that's pretty much the case, especially at Owlerton.

Now he's not the number one it will be interesting to see where Steady places him in the team, assuming he stays a Tiger!

  4. Greg Bartlett, made his debut at reserve for Sheffield in 1994,rode at number one for the Tigers in the one big league in '95 beating some of the big names of the day around Owlerton and was making progress on the away circuits.Took a full time job as a miner back in Australia and rarely rode again.I always compared him to fellow Perth based rider Steve Johnston, who after a slow start, went onto have a solid British career and Barty was equally as good,if not slighty better than Johnno in his two seasons.

  5. If Troy's trying to get his rolling average down to join a CL team he's doing a reasonable job of it.

    Starting rolling average 8.82

    July rolling average       8.33

Current rolling average (as of 15/07) 7.67

    Actual season average  6.05.

  7. The 3rd turn bar is only open for the use of the toilets.

You can see into the pits from the 4th turn.

Belle Vue look stronger at 2nd string and reserve, heats 2/8/14 Tigers tend to struggle with at the moment so you'd expect the Aces to just edge it unless the Tigers three heatleaders go unbeaten...

There's a pub on the other side of the church at the top of the car park, dunno what its like for food as I've never been in it.Plus McDonalds,KFC and Pizza Hut are across the road from the track.

You could dine at the restaurant on the home straight, but you need to contact the Stadium and let the Promotion know so they can maintain the crowd numbers. Here's the link for lastnights meeting with information.

only have to wear masks at belle vue when entering stadium and moving around but not once you are in place

And that's the same at Owlerton. In fact it was pretty much a 'normal' meeting crowd on the 3rd/4th turn, you could stand where you wanted,me and dad had our usual place with plenty of people within arms reach,so to speak.

The home straight was split in two though, with the season tickets holders towards the first turn and the pay on the gate fans near the pits end and a large gap in the middle. There was also a smattering of fans on the first turn under the new building.

Hi can anyone please help. I purchased my ticket on line but got no email back with my ticket just a number. I have emailed proof of purchase and have been told they will resend but still no ticket , I have emailed 3 times now and no response since , Ive also rung a few times but line cuts off . Anyone know a different number.

You should get a email from sheffieldtigerstickets@seatedly.com with a red banner with your order reference on it,a team picture, then order details, and under that a PDF link to download the ticket(s).
