Dilger has posted on Facebook that he has signed his first contract for next year so might well be him..
Would be happy if so, felt he did well last season. Would like to see most of the team that finished the year back..
He has signed a contract for Outrup in Denmark.

Maybe it should be billed as "Stars in Their Eyes" Silver helmet.
"Tonight Matthew Im going to be................................................ at home".

My post wasnt meant to be anything other than to point out that it wasnt Worky fans (or Redcar) fans who thought he was at fault for tonights incident (I wasnt there so cant comment) but a Newcastle supporter.
LIke NYB I saw the incidents at Redcar and agree with his assessment of them.

Comments: Diamonds Rock: Race stopped due to 1st bend crash. R Worrall into Ingalls who went into Howarth and then both into the fence. R Worrall should be excluded - but a rerun with all 4 ridfers. both Workington riders in fence still. Now, all riders have walked back to pits.
I had no idea diamonds rocks was a Worky or Redcar fan!

Well done to the Tiggers and particularly Grievesy who has always hated riding Somerset in the past (and he's popular down there too ).
Good effort from the Bears boys too

Enjoyed the visits of the Brummies and their colourful and friendly supporters.
Good luck in the Elite league.
PS - Can we have Chris Kerr back please

Richard Lawson scored 7pts, do not know position.
Report and scores here.

You're right though that is nothing compared to the struggles of Redcar this year. Based on what I saw last week you guys deserve a medal for watching that team every week. Reminds me of the Diamonds in 2004.
As long as we don't have to pay for the medals ourselves....

Yes very disappointing that we didn't even make the final. Our luck seems to have run out big style since heat 6 last week with an ef for Rene costing us a final place today. A similar story to the pairs when an ef for Kenni cost us. At least we have a trophy in the cupboard.
Congatulations to the Brummies though. They have had a genuine chance of winning the title blown away through injuries so I think they deserve to win some silverware.
Still the KOC and the play-offs to look forward to.
It was only a gentle dig (gawd knows I have had little else to make me smile this season).
Pleased for the Brummies and agree with your point about injuries robbing them of the chance to win the title.
As for Newcastle - you have had a fabulous run and , as you say, picked the wrong time to have a change in fortunes but to be fair you have had a settled team all season (McKinna apart) and have managed to avoid injuries to your key men. Plenty still to ride for.

i'm looking forward to this immensely.
IF The Diamonds have there best 4 they're gonna walk this.
Well they did......and they didn't

Elite? He coudnt cut at Premier level! On last nights performance it's no loss and Bager I feel could do a job for us.
What jobs do you need doing?
Bager is a second string Pl rider - ok when he gets the gate but his unusual style (looks like he is on a motorised bar stool) makes it difficult to pass anybody.
Maybe Stoke will suit him better than Redcar - to be fair he came into a struggling team and never looked like the answer to our many problems.
-
I thought Kildemand did ok too - don't think he had ridden for a month or so either so may have been a bit rusty.
-
Ty is not the most gracious of losers (although he is better than he was last year). Think he was speaking out of frustration more than anything else.
Actually - Ty might have had a chance at Kings Lynn

Any update on James Grieves?
-
I assume there will be updates in the usual place.

Saw Arlo in pits with an ice pack on his wrist, sincerely hope nothing is broken, he's been improving nicely recently.Arlo broke his wrist apparently.

Any news on updates?

Well done Richard and pleased that the Redcar fans have seen how much he has improved this year while at the Showground.First time I've seen him ride & he was fantastic. He rode the wide line as good as anybody at Redcar this season and he won most of his races frim the back.
Good meeting overall with some great races - a good end to a great first season of Speedway on Teesside.

Rough Park - there you go , didn't have to wait too long.
Track was fine after the work was done (although why it was in such a state to start with and why it was left so late to do anything to it is another question). Yes it had rained but not enough to cause an hours delay.
Racing wasnt great but saw a couple of good races.
Bears still inconsistent but getting better. Good recovery from the Diamonds to get a point.
Move on.
