Not sure if Bob the trackman still looks on here,,, if you do Bob,, can you answer a couple of questions please.  Will no racing on the track  have done any good? Bad? Or does it need constant looking after to stop the base breaking up or damaging it?

Hi Baldyman the track is in great condition  .few little cracks in it but soon as you start watering/rain they will disappear thanks for enquiring bob

Just seen i am on nights on Good Friday,so i am with you Monday will be fine:rolleyes:.Although if they are going to use the Easter weekend for the old rivalry to commence you can't see it being any other than the traditional Good Friday.

Monday no go at foxhall ,normally got stock cars.

  3. Well you 2 must be blind, it popped a fence panel out, so I take it both of you with sight impairment didn't also see the track staff put the fence panel back in place???? Oh and it also happened in from of us in our higher position in the stand directly in line with where Scott fenced him.

You are right baldyman the fence was hit and there is a small hole in one panel where foot rest went through.bob track man.

  4. The track wasn't heavy, just a bit wet on bends 1 and 2, but slick it was from start to finish. After a few races there was no bite left in it and it basically was left to turn to powder. There was no reason why a drop of water couldn't have been put on the outside during the meeting. For some reason our track never seems to get any water once the meeting has started

  6. You cannot defend the indefensible Jeff or The Know!! What I want to know is why the track gurus (teehee) put the shale down in the first place if it was soaked, why not get some more shale in to mix with it?
Anybody with any sense knows wet shale on concrete floor dosnt drain very well so why not put a layer of sand under it first it would help it to drain and dry so it could be packed it down.
