Iv'e just got back from holiday in Norfolk & went to the 'as mentionedn meeting' & my thoughts are I agree totally with Buster. I was in the car park leaving when he was talking on the mike but just about overheard him saying he was disgusted with the riders' attitudes. Now this is a promoter talking. Yes there was a shower but the track was not unrideable at all. I have seen worse tracks after being watered! I have stronger feelings about the so-called EL riders but I wont say any more. Suffice to say that my deepest condolences are with casper Wortman & Phil Morris & family after witnessing such an horrific crash at Mildenhall on Sunday. Poor old Brummies they are suffering. Tough guy Jason Lyons also had a nasty crash & was out cold for a while. The 2 crashes were sickening to say the least & I hope this gets something done to make the Mildenhall fence safer in future, albeit the track is a good racing circuit. Any how I got my claim to fame by being interviewed at Lynn by Mike Bennett presenter as he did manage to find 1 of only 4 Pirates fans up there. Skippedy doo.

Yes you can stand by the start line. The whole home straight is accessable either by Grandstand seating or standing.

I went to Newport earlier this year & it was pouring all afternoon. It was vs Isle of Wight. I enjoyed it. I like the tidy stadium. I used to live in Wales & i have a fondness for the Welsh. Anyway...the riders put on a show in the most awful conditions unlike the 'Top' riders who wouldn't have even walked on the track that day! My congratulations to both teams that Sunday & I look forward to the New Year Classic. Actually a couple of pics I took that day are on webshots linked below...

Having almost completed every club this season (2 to go), I must say a few words about the Birmingham Second City Trophy meeting I was at . This was my first visit to the new Perry barr & indeed to Birmingham speedway. You Brummies fans win my award for the most friendly of all speedway fans. I have been up & down all year to all the tracks & I can honestly say I was made to feel at home. You were really pleasant to be with. The restaraunt area I must say was in top class condition. What a breathe of fresh life it has given me, especially after such a dismal & unhappy trip to Berwick last week, where I felt most unwelcome, was spoken to extremely unkindly by certain individuals & by a certain official who totally ruined my day after I had just travelled 750 miles! But apart from the moaning about Berwick thanks you lot at Brum. It was an enjoyable evening especially as JL won it. Sorry to see Andy Smith have such a strange & nasty crash..hope you're ok Foxy. Sheffield here I come....
